I can't believe I only paid $30 for this cymbal. The sound is richer and darker than I was expecting, and a great complement for any rock or metal drum style. In fact, I prefer the sound of this splash to my $150 china crash. If you're on the fence, just buy it already. Best $30 you'll spend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of this cymbal. Looking to buy more in different sizes of the same brand.

Way better than expected all around. Bought all 3 sizes 8, 10 and 12 (various sellers). Arrived in oem Wuhan plastic bags and all appeared shiny and new. Bright and splashy sound, fast decay.

Just purchased this Wuhan 10 inch splash from Amazon a few weeks ago. Couldn't be happier with it. This cymbal is a win/win. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, or a seasoned pro looking for another splash to add to the collection, this cymbal will fit the bill. The sounds I've been getting out of this thing are bright, warm and explosive. Very responsive....reminds me of the HHX splash, but not as earthy. Easily holds its own against any of the high priced splashes......and for only 30 bucks! ............ I'll be giving these out as Christmas gifts this year.I've been playing for nearly 40 years. I tend to lean toward cymbals that work well in a jazz/ Latin setting....and bashing some Bohnam in between. I know a good cymbal when I hear it, and this one is a keeper. If you like great sounding cymbals and appreciate a ridiculous bargain, this one's a no brainer. Its B20 alloy so its on par with the high end stuff. If you don't abuse it, it'll bring you years of enjoyment.......all for only 30 bucks. Rivals many $130 splashes. Bottom line, this thing is a steal...stop reading the reviews about this thing and click the "Buy" button. If you are still reading this review, you must not like pro sounding splashes at entry-level prices. I've owned entry-level cymbals before. The ones that came with my first drum set as a package deal. They're a horrible joke. These Wuhan splashes are not that. They are B20...the good stuff. They have a brilliant finish so they are easy to clean and look great. Are you still here? Then you must be seriously considering this bad boy. I did that too for a few days, reading review after review as Amazon's supply on hand dwindled down to only 11 left. Then I went ahead and bought it and I could not be happier. So much so that I'll be getting yet another to experiment with some side-hat/EFX stack options.Ever bought one of those expensive splashes only to realize that when applied to a low volume setting, it just kinda sucks? Not this one. Beautiful, explosive shimmer that works perfectly in low volume settings. My pricey A now sees very little play since I got this baby. Are you still here? You should've clicked on the "Buy Now" option by now. I'm tryin' to do you a favor here. LOOK! Spend the 30 bucks on this thing. Skip a meal and a couple of starbucks beverages and use the cash you saved to buy this cymbal. You'll shave a few calories AND as a bonus, you'll end up with the best deal you've gotten all year. You can thank me later. Just please don't buy them ALL so I can get a couple more. Now go before they sell out!P.S. I generally don't write reviews. I buy a product, usually based on others reviews, and then let lady luck do her thing. Using that strategy I've had mostly good luck, and a couple of duds (lookin' at you Cuisinart electric kettle). In total, this is the fourth review I've written since the invention of the internet. When a product is so outstanding, and such a great value, I'm compelled to give it the props it deserves. It's happened four times for me. This is one of them.Enjoy!

The Wuhan 10 inch Splash is, surprisingly, made of B20 Alloy, the same as the higher end lines from Sabian, Zildjian, Mienl and other cymbal companies. As all Wuhan cymbals, this is hand hammered and has full sound with attitude. The 10 inch Wuhan Splash sounds beautiful, dark and produces a medium-long decay of the initial hit, very similar to a crash.I compared this splash to a Zildjian A Series 10 inch splash and surprisingly the Wuhan, to my ears, sounds much better. The Zildjian sounded a bit tinny and not as full as the Wuhan. The Wuhan really impressed me a lot with the side by side comparison. The hand hammering is something that most cymbal companies don't offer except for the expensive, high end cymbals lines. All of the Wuhan cymbals I have purchased and/or heard in person all sound great, some much better than others. They are very affordable which allows drummers to build a cymbal set quickly for much less money then the bigger named cymbal companies.I wish I could have found out about these cymbals 20 years ago for they are the best value for amazing sounding quality cymbals. For a fraction of the cost of other cymbals on the market in the B20 lines, it's a win win in my mind. The pictures I submitted are when I first received the cymbal. The second is after I hand polished and removed the black lettering

Been playing over 50 years, owned a lot cymbals and splashes over the years. I've been fortunate to play A's ,Custom A's, K's and HHX's..I've had splash cymbals from all 4 lines. I've kept some, sold a bunch. One thing I've realized is there are good sounding and not so good sounding splash cymbals, even with these higher end cymbal lines. Read all the hype on this 10" splash, and decided to try one, figuring I'd dump if I didn't like it, seemed too good to be true, with all the great reviews..Well..I'm shocked..This 10" is a gem for the money. Nice looking finish on it, does not sound trashy, or gong like, it sounds like a splash should sound. It's brilliant and high pitched, so if you're looking for something darker, keep looking. I will make room to add this one to my set. Any negative reviews saying this cymbal is not up to par, well, maybe those people shouldn't be writing reviews, and learn how hit cymbals, without cracking them all the time..Seems China cymbal makers are finally starting to figure it out, at a fraction of the cost. Watch out big over priced, cymbal companies..

Just got this in, played it once and love it so far with its bright sound, smooth decay; the perfect addition. Wuhan's are all handmade and you do gamble somewhat with the results, based on their customization. However, the ones I have (ride, crash, HH and now the splash) have been impressive, especially considering their price. The HH are a bit tinty and will need replacing, but I look forward to getting the 8" splash and 14" China Crash next.Peace,
