Not sharp enough to punch through leather. I have a cone punch sharpener but it doesn't fit the small holes. Returning this item and buying a KS Blade.

I got this to make some holes in some very thin leather (Upholstery leather.) for some crafting. The good news? It did punch the holes and it was sturdy enough I didn't feel like it was going to break. I was able to remove and readd the cones easily, and everything worked just fine and as advertised. The bad news? It barely seemed to cut through my very thin leather. It took a LOT of force hitting the punch compared to what I was expecting to get the pieces to punch through correctly, especially considering the thinness of the leather I was using.Overall, it works, but there may be other options that will work better for your projects.
