As a pool owner, I’m always on the lookout for ways to keep my pool clean with minimal effort. When I came across the WYBOT C2 Robotic Pool Cleaner, I was intrigued by its promise of powerful suction, smart navigation, and cordless convenience. After putting it through its paces, I can confidently say that this cleaner delivers on its promises. The WYBOT C2 arrived well-packaged, and I was immediately impressed by its sleek and modern design. The setup process was straightforward—charge it up, download the app, and place it in the pool. The app walks you through the pairing process, and within minutes, it was ready to go.Once in the water, the cleaner got to work right away. One of the standout features is its smart navigation system. Unlike random-pattern cleaners, this one follows an S-shaped path on the pool floor and an N-shaped path for wall climbing, ensuring full coverage. It seamlessly moves over drains and different pool surfaces, including tile and PVC, without getting stuck. The dual filtration system is another highlight. It effectively captures fine debris and larger particles like leaves, making a noticeable difference in my pool’s clarity. Emptying and rinsing the filter is incredibly easy—just pop open the top covers, remove the filter baskets, and rinse them off.Battery life is impressive at 180 minutes, covering my 1,500 sq. ft. pool in one go. The LED indicators provide a clear battery status, ensuring I never get caught off guard mid-clean.The ability to control the cleaner via an app is a great feature. I can schedule cleanings, choose from multiple modes (Floor Only, Wall Only, Waterline Only, etc.), and monitor progress remotely. One thing to note—modes must be set while the cleaner is out of the water, but once set, it runs flawlessly.Pros & ConsPros:+Cordless Design – No tangled cables or complicated setup.+Strong Suction Power – Picks up dirt, sand, leaves, and other debris efficiently.+Smart Navigation – Covers every inch of the pool methodically.+Long Battery Life – Cleans for up to 180 minutes on a single charge.+Easy Maintenance – The filter is simple to remove and clean.+App Integration – Allows scheduling and customization for a hands-free experience.Cons:-Charging Time – Takes around 4-5 hours to fully charge.-Wall Climbing Consistency – Sometimes struggles on extra smooth surfaces.-Heavy Lifting – At 15 lbs, it’s not the lightest cleaner to remove from the pool.-App Connectivity – Occasionally disconnects, though it reconnects quickly. The WYBOT C2 Robotic Pool Cleaner is a powerful, efficient, and convenient solution for pool maintenance. Its smart navigation, long battery life, and dual filtration system make it a worthy investment for any pool owner. While it has minor drawbacks like charging time and occasional app hiccups, its performance outweighs these small inconveniences.Overall, the WYBOT C2 is a solid investment for keeping your pool sparkling clean with minimal effort.

Having been a user for years of suction side pool cleaners, we decided to move on to robotic cleaners. What a difference!!This robotic cleaner really does a great job and it’s so easy to use. After fully charging it (about 3 hours or less) I set the mode to floor only, placed it in the pool, turned off our pool pump and watched it go! After about 2 hours, the bottom of our pool was completely clean! The only area it did not get were the steps. The robot never got stuck and the double filter picked up just about everything that was on the floor of the pool.Living in SC, our pool gets lots of debris including leaves and pine straw. All of it made its way into the filter basket. When the cleaner battery was depleted, the robot was at the side of the pool and easy to retrieve using my pool pole and the supplied hook. After removing the robot from the pool, it was easy to remove the basket and clean it and also rinse off the robot. Once I cleaned it, I recharged it and placed it in my outdoor waterproof storage chest so it’s ready for its next cleaning.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the design and performance of this robot cleaner. I’ll never use a suction side cleaner again. This robot is a winner!

Wybot C2 robotic pool cleanerI consider myself a geek when it comes to home robotics. Whether it be home floor vacuums which have been around for quite a while or the new and latest robotic lawnmowers, but my favorite is Robotic Pool Cleaners.I have an average sized in ground pool of 1200 sq/ft nothing complicated, round shape, maximum depth 6’, with build in steps and a sloping floor. With that being said I have researched and evaluated many different robotic pool vacuums and have done countless hours of online research because a robotic pool cleaner can be very specialized and very expensive , but the coolest thing is the technological advancements that happen every year with the best Manufacturers , and Wybot has been around since 2005, they are highly regarded in the industry and have won many awards over the yearsNow about this Wybot C2, which came out in 2025, it actually only came out in Feb 2025, so it was not included in the Jan 2025 CES show in Vegas. This C2 is a bit of a mystery, it did not show up on Wybot’s home pages until recently and there has been little to no promotional push on this model. It seems to be the next version of their successful C1 model, but there has been no hype on its advancements or features…but then comes the C2 Vision.Wybot has started promoting a Vision series of robotic vacuum cleaners, the vision series includes a forward facing camera and sensors with a built in AI chip that can hunt, seek and learn your pool debris metrics over time to greatly improve pool cleaning efficiency. As of today Wybot has not listed the C2 Vision on their website, I have seen it on some other resale sites but not directly on the Wybot homepage, this may change from the time I write this review. My thoughts on this is that they may be looking to rebrand and distribute this latest model to a larger distributor, although Wybot are listing an M2 Vision on their homepage as of Feb 2025This Wybot C2 has all the right specs and looks very impressive for a large size inground pool, full app control for floor, walls and waterline, 3 hour runtime, dual filtration etc.etc… Wybot has always had great products, I have very little doubt about it’s ability to perform, it all comes down to bang for the buckThe issue being this C2 model is identical to the C2 Vision without the camera and sensors for the hunt and seek features, it also lacks the AI learning capacity, The user manual is the same for both the regular C2 and the C2 Vision, and as I said the functionality of both these models is identical , minus the advanced Ai capabilities of the Vision seriesUnfortunately I am in the middle of a Canadian winter, I will not be able to test this Wybot C2 for a few months, but regardless I am sure it will perform well with the issue being is the C2 just a stepping stone and temporary product offering before they actually come out and promote the C2 Vision as their primary $1000 to $2000 AI based pool cleanerWhen looking to for a robotic pool cleaner it is very important you keep yourself informed, it can be a very expensive investment, but certainly worth it if you value your down time when it comes to relaxing by your pool in the summer rather then having to spend all the wasted hours of manually cleaning your pool

Dive into a cleaner pool with the WYBOT C2 Vision robotic pool cleaner – a little dynamo that truly makes a splash! At first, our aquatic friend seemed a bit disoriented, floating and flailing at the pool wall like a confused goldfish. It turned out all he needed was a little calibration to set his bearings, and voilà – he knew which way was up!Now, he’s a bona fide poolside pal, scrubbing walls with the precision of a seasoned pro. The Vision version comes equipped with a front-facing camera, and his “dirt hunting” mode is nothing short of entertaining. He twists and turns like a mini detective on the lookout for stray leaves and debris, whisking them away with the determination of a character straight out of WALL•E – we even nicknamed him “Mo” in his honor! Not only is Mo the perfect size for easy lifting (a stark contrast to heftier pool robots), but his impressive 3-hour battery life means he’s ready to keep your pool sparkling for a long swim session. Whether you’re poolside or pool watching, Mo’s antics are sure to keep you entertained and your pool pristine.Time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show – Mo is on the job and making waves every day!

I'm not sure if my pool is just too dirty at the present moment for this to be effective- or if my unit needs a firmware update. First- this is a pretty well constructed and designed unit. However there are some things that I have not been able to figure out- that aren't covered in the manual. First- there's some foam pieces included- for floatation I am guessing. Not sure where they're supposed to go. The paper filter- it says not to use the paper filter for heavily soiled pools. No problem. Followed the instructions, downloaded the app, charged the device- and it only runs for 30 minutes and shuts off. IMO, you should be able to set a time you want it to run. Mine has yet to cover the entire pool floor in multiple run times- and I don't have a very big pool. Average by Florida standards. I really want to like this unit- and would love to give it 5 stars- but as of right now, I can't because it just seems to have a mind of its own with random movements, regardless of the app settings used. I'll be looking to see if there's a firmware update available to get its movement sorted out a little better. But, overall I believe this truly has the hardware to do the job.

This is pretty darn great for cleaning pools. Makes cleaning a larger pool easy. I would note it's weight could make it hard for some users to lift it out of the pool. It's also noteworthy that the sz of the dirt picking is smaller than I thought it would be. But as it's doing the work for you, that plays a minimal role. This is definitely a well made unit, it seems it will go for quite a good while.

I've tested a ton of these robots, here's my bottom line: For high end robots, Beatbot is my favorite. They have a wide range of models with a wide range of features, but even the basic one is great. For mid range robots, it's a tie between this Wybot C2 and the Aiper Scuba S1. For budget an entry level (like small flat pools, or above ground pools), I like the Aiper Seagull or the Aiper SE.The Beatbots literally offer a hundred features, it's the most advanced tech I've ever seen in a pool accessory. However, I'm going to make an argument that the midgrade units like this Wybot have distinct advantages. This Wybot, for example, has one sensor in front, whereas the Beatbot has 30 sensors. That's extremely impressive, but 30 sensors means 30 additional things that could go wrong. Sure, all these robots have warranties, but you have to live without them for several weeks as they get repaired. So I think an argument can be made for a simpler robot. That's not to say that this Wybot lacks features. Let me highlight some of my favorite features:First, this Wybot has an extremely useful feature that's mostly new for 2025. Very few robots have it, I first saw it on BeatBot. The feature is, you can leave the robot in the water for up to a week, on one charge, and it automatically breaks up the cleaning cycle to do a little bit of cleaning every day. This is great for vacation, but you can use this every day too, depending on how much debris your pool gets. So for example it can clean 45 minutes per day, every other day, for a week.It also has the dual filter. That may sound trivial, I know that most people are hyper focused on things like battery life and app. But the basket is one of the first things I look at, because without a double filter it's going to leave behind sand, silt, and small debris. That's really the most consistent complaint I see about pool robots - it leaves behind the small debris. Well, the dual filter is designed to catch most of it.It's fast charging as well - just 3 hours to charge, with a run time of 3 hours. This is built really well - sturdy, and more importantly, a solid and simple design. Battery is great, motor is great, and suction is great.I will say that I think the Aiper does a better job with navigation and mapping. The entry level robots are just bump and go - they will not cover the entire pool area. This has a pattern it follows, which is pretty efficient. But the Aiper actually maps out your pool, similar to a Roomba. The newer Beatbots, however, use AI cameras to scan for debris and go straight to it, which is the most efficient. This Wybot does floor cleaning, wall cleaning, and waterline cleaning (meaning, the waterline around the edges). It does not skim the surface. Some of the Beatbots are 2-in-1 skimmers, or my recommendation is to get a solar skimmer separately - and basically leave it in the pool, never take it out except to empty it. Also, to my knowledge, no robot will navigate steps, although several are working on it.

The WYBOT C2 Robotic Pool Cleaner is Cordless. That is a huge feature of these modern pool vacuums. This is my upgrade from the C1 that I have. The suction is still the same amd strong but I noticed it is more efficient due to a high filtration rate. It has a dual filtration system unlike its predecessor the C1.This one has an intelligent and smart path planning which means you can choose which is to be done: wall cleaning, floor cleaning, water line cleaning. This pool vacuum has an app to program and set up the types of cleanings and the frequency of cleaning. This has a 7 mode cleaning possibility.I am sure that as we use it we will understand more the application and its ability to help us save time on the cleaning.I also fell that this one can go more. 180 minutes as opposed to 150 minutes. It must have a great battery. This was my review on the C1.I like both and I recommend them:The WYBOT C1 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is a great addition to your pool cleaning arsenal. It is innovative and very advanced. You are in luck if you find the one which suits your needs. This one particularly has a long lasting battery. It lasts almost 2 hoursYou have to set it up to the cleaning mode you need first. The pool size is also important.I have a small pool this is just right for me.I must say that the package arrived damaged see photo. And I was afraid the device is damaged too. Just a little dent no issues. So, I scattered few things big and small in the pool. I started the cleaning cycle and I dive to see the 4 wheels going and at the same time the brushes hooked to then pushing the stuff into the suction area. . I let it clean without paying too much with the application as it freezes on me sometimes. Cleaning it after a job is easy. You remove the filter and you drain the robot, then you wash the filter with water.Mine is cleaning on a mosaic surface and I can see the differenceAll in all, this is a great product to have and there is going to be some fun and play while cleaning the pool.I recommend it very much.

After weeks of use, here’s my detailed and balanced review of this high-tech pool companion. The WYBOT C2 arrived in a well-packaged box, and I was immediately impressed by its sleek, futuristic design. The cordless feature is a game-changer, eliminating the hassle of tangled cords. The included dual filtration system, app control, and smart navigation capabilities made it clear that this cleaner is designed for efficiency and ease of use.Setting up the WYBOT C2 was straightforward. Simply charge it, download the app, and place it in the pool. The app guides you through the initial setup and pairing process.Once in the water, the cleaner gets to work immediately. The smart navigation ensures it covers every inch of the pool, including walls and the waterline. The app allows me to monitor progress and adjust settings remotely.Emptying the debris canister is quick and easy. The dual filtration system captures both fine and large debris, reducing the frequency of cleaning. The cleaner is made from high-quality, UV-resistant materials that withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight and pool chemicals. After weeks of use, it shows no signs of wear, and the battery life remains consistent.Minor Drawbacks:1. The 4-5 hour charging time might be a bit long for some users.2. At 15 pounds, the cleaner is a bit heavy to lift in and out of the pool.3. While the features and performance justify the cost, it’s a significant investment for some pool owners. The WYBOT C2 Robotic Pool Cleaner is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to simplify pool maintenance.
