Constantly having to re-stick pieces of this tape, or pull off and redo with a new piece. The adhesive/stickiness on this tape is not good compared to other brands

This tape has great adhesion, even after having to remove and re-place the same piece two or three times. The tape also tears straight across the roll easily and didn't leave residue behind when removed.Some splinters of finish came off with the tape when I removed it from finished wood, though. So in the future, I'll only apply light pressure when I'm applying tape to a wood surface, rather than the moderate pressure I applied during installation. In this case, the tape was only in place for about two hours before removing.I'm not an experienced gaffer's tape user, but I'm satisfied with the performance of this tape for my multi-purpose needs.

Adhesion is good on hard surfaces, but on Berber carpet I found I needed to re trace and press down as it came apart after time in some areas. Easy to roll out, works great with a gaff gun.Easy to tear.

I use this to secure cords to the floor to prevent tripping hazards. Holds well to all types of flooring, carpet, lino, tiles, concrete. Can leave in place for months and pulls away clean, not like duct tape.

It's alright. It doesn't stick to surfaces for long. Tends to unstick after a while. Easy to rip unexpectedly. Good for quick fast application but I wouldn't buy this again.

Cheap gaffers tape. Not what I was used to. Doesn’t tear like gaffers tape. Much thinner and less cloth feeling.

Sticks down. No leftover residue. I bought the 3 inches wide version. In the past, I've purchased the 2 inch, but always felt a little restricted when taping down a few cords at the same time. The 3 inch is the bomb!

So far so good. I used regular black adhesive tape prior to this to put up curtains in my car and the temperature of the window melted the glue which ran down the windshield in a gooey mess. There might be some residue left on the glass from the sun baking the gaffer's tape, but I'm not sure yet. In any case, it's not melting and dripping down the windshield. I've never used gaffer's tape before, and honestly didn't know what it was until I realized I did know what it was. So I thought I'd give it a try. I liked that it was made for use on textiles, metal, glass and all sorts of surfaces without damaging them. It adheres well despite the fact that it's not a permanent bond. I'm not an expert at gaffer's tape, but this seems like a pretty good product.

Works great for a low price. Have tested it on many surfaces including Wood floors, tile, carpet and laminate. Doesn't leave any residue on the floor or cables. Has a great adherence lasts for days with no problems. Would recommend to everyone!

I reviewed the 2" gaffer tape earlier; great stuff. Easy to tear off, easy to pull up with no residue. The 3" tape works a little better for taping down multiple cords at once. I was using it to tape down two power extension cords and it worked great. I can't buy enough of it.
