Prompt delivery in two days, secure packaging and easy to read instructions, not that a skid plate should be very hard to install anyway. Gather up tools, removing the stock plate, install and clean up, this is a 20-25 minute job and the result is very much needed additional protection for you KLX140. There was a little bit of tightness / minor mis-alinement with the two front screws but they both went in without any need to re-drill or enlarge the holes. The aft end is held up by a clamp type arrangement. You can do an oil change without removing the plate but you will likely end up with some spillage on the top of the plate. The plate itself is more than big enough and robust enough to withstand the hits that this little bike will take. While it doesn't completely cover the suspension linkage, it's far more protection than the stock plate. The plate is well made of 4mm aluminum, nicely welded and finished and looks good on the bike. Well worth the price.
