Very functional and practical in both daylight and lowlight shooting applications. I was hitting easy 5in groups at 7-10yds, from a draw, and I have old tired eyes. Large red dot is perfect. Price point is spot on. I suggest having your local firearms store doing the install. This is an oversized front site. Make sure your holster has a sight channel that accepts aftermarket sights. This Is generally not an issue for the more modern kydex holsters, but can be an issue for some leather holsters.

OKAY, it is an incredible sight. The implementation is weak. First, the screw holder won't fit in the hole of the weapon. So, you have to trim the circumference down with a Dremel or something. Then the rear sight hole is extremely tight and you have to hammer hard and then harder--messes up the finish some. The first one I bought worked perfectly. The screwdriver fit, and the rear sight slid in easily. I didn't know why there were complaints about installation until the second one. I think they should lower the price on the set screw one, cause this one is a hassle to install. BUT THE SIGHTS ARE GREAT.

With 67 yr old eyes, all I use are XS Big Dot. Have them on 6 Glocks and clones.

The sights make it easier to line up and acquire targets at close range. It takes a minute to get adjusted to lining the front sight on top of the rear sight but once you do acquisition it faster to me. It alleviates the fidgeting of getting the front post centered in the rear sight. Make sure you pay attention to the models. One rear sight is pressed in another slides in and screws down. I prefer the pressed in rear sight.

I like these, it’s easy to acquire the front sight quickly and align it with the bottom. Front dot is quite bright, works well in low light.I usually buy Trijicon HD’s to replace the horridly designed OEM Glock sights, but I decided to take a chance on these for my G42 after reading good reviews and these are cheaper. The only caveat I would say is that they aren’t for everyone. If you’re used to lining up the front sight between two rear dots, this works a bit differently and takes just a little adjustment.I adapted quickly and though and I like them now. Just check the photos carefully and be aware that the sight picture may be a bit different from what you’re used to.They are definitely an improvement over stock Glock sights, but literally any aftermarket sights on the shelf are, so I guess that’s not saying too much. 😂

Decided to put these on a Glock 43 for competition matches. Manufacturer's website has a good videos on the installation process. Comes with a small tube of blue Loctite. Overall installation was easy. It is fast and easy to line these sights and put them on target. My groups tighten a lot over using stock sights. Talked with manufacturer about few questions I had and they answered them all. Excellent customer care. Sights are made in house in Texas by a business that cares about 2A and shooter. No question asked warranty. Will be eventually replacing all my sights with these. By contrast, I needed a warranty on my Williams fiber optic sights and they refused. Bye bye Williams, hello XS Sights.

I've been curious about these for a very long time. Makes sense to me but all my handguns already came with quality night sights so never Needed to swap them out. My G43 came with glocks stock plastic sights, which are pretty ok but I carry this and the wear and tear on the plastic sights prompted me to upgrade.I knew what I wanted and could finally justify the purchase. I debated between these and the set that includes tritium rear sight also. This set has a painted white line. I was really torn because I like the tritium but I have been using a blacked out stock rear to keep myself focused on the front sight, so I thought for this application, having a non glowing rear sight would be better. What I didn't know, this set requires quite a bit of fitting work. The other set would have been worth the $20 extra just for the set screw rear sight. I filed the base enough to completely remove a imprinted number on it and it was still too tight. So I kept working at it. It's not particularly difficult but it is a pain in the @$$. Using a KME diamond 100 grit as a file so I could be sure not to remove too much material and it's a metal stone with a flat surface keeping the work flat as possible. I rotated the sight to ensure even grinding. Keeping my sanding long ways, doing it narrow is almost guaranteed to come out convexed. After a beer and an hour or so, I felt it would go. It didn't quite make the halfway mark by hand and I feel it ended up being too tight but a wooden hammer got it positioned easy enough. It's not going anywhere. When installing and using the provided thead locker, BE SURE YOUR CENTER MEASUREMENT IS GOOD! I Some how misaligned my center. It was very hard to beat it over. I did this without a sight pusher or vice.Ok, now for the review. I LOVE this set up. I do train with this gun but it's for self defense, not tight groups. I do just fine with these and love that the dot is nice and fat but at longer distance you lose some ability for getting a very precise shot. Think having an 8 moa red dot. These actually feel a lot like having a red dot, I find myself barely paying attention to the rear sight at close range, which is sometimes hard to train yourself to do. In my opinion, these are some of the finest sights for self defense. You can really focus on the target and still know where your front sight is. And for $100, they're in the middle price range. I would recommend the set with the set screws though, save yourself a little work and I'm sure they would be easier to correct if your centering job is shoddy like mine. This kit came with the sights, front tritium with yellow glow in the dark fluorescent ring, rear blade with dovetail fitment and recessed painted white line. Tool for removing/installing the front sight screw, thread locker and nice instructions for use. Nicely finished and machined.I wish they included a printed ruler and front sight index on the instruction card. Would be pretty cool. Just cut them out, the card stock would make it easy.Oh, Made in USA! Thank you for that.
