I like the solid construction and can be used for both acoustic and electric guitars. What I really disliked about this stand is that it scratched through the paint on the bottom of my guitar. I should have put some of that blue painters tape on the bottom edges so to prevent the scratches. Lesson learned too late. I hope this helps someone!

There are several guitars and a ukulele in the house. This is the third such purchase. It has four positive qualities: functional, compact, aesthetic and cheap.

I use this stand for a 41” acoustic guitar but it can also be used to hold other instruments instead. The stand is made of wood and very simple to assemble or disassemble as needed. As the advertisement states, “This removable wood grain guitar stand has only two pieces, so it can be disassembled and reassembled again and again without auxiliary tools. After disassembled, it can be easily stuffed into the case, you can take it around with you at will.” You don’t need anything more than that! The design is a very simple interlocking X that is very sturdy and stable, and attractive as well. I highly recommend this stand, it is an excellent value!

This should get the job done for most guitar-like stringed instruments. I like that it has two notches to accommodate electric and acoustic bodies. It couldn't be easier to assemble, and it's nice that it's in two flat pieces. This makes it easy to store or travel with. I never take a guitar stand with me to gigs, because the ones that I have take up too much space or don't pack well into my gear bag. I think I can put this right in my bag without an issue.Load-bearing should also be no problem, though it would be reassuring to be given a weight rating in the product description. I don't see this having any issue supporting an instrument of up to maybe twelve pounds or even heavier. The soft material on the edges of the stand feels nice, and I assume it will be fine for pretty much any guitar finish. My only gripe is the finish. When I ordered it, I thought the "wood grain" finish was actual wood grain. It's a printed graphic that is affixed to the flat portions of the stand. On the plus side, you have to get kind of close to notice that it's a graphic. But I think I'd prefer a solid color to this faux wood grain sticker (or maybe it's directly printed on to the plywood). If you're looking for an alternative to the typical tubular black guitar stand, I still recommend it.

I've been looking for a portable stand to go in the studio for a temporary perch when I'm using a guitar and have to set it down for a moment and walk away. I have a rack I keep them all in, but sometimes I want to keep one handy. This PengPey X-Shaped Guitar Stand is great for that. I had been using a fold-up plasticky thing was way too flimsy and had a low center of gravity -- my guitar kept falling off it. Anyway, it was fine for full sized acoustic guitars and solid body electrics, but my semi-hollow body jazz guitar wouldn't fit. It sets on this X-shaped stand perfectly! And it feels stable. The stand is rubber insulated where the guitar touches. I just like to feel my guitar is in a better place and won't be sliding off or tipping over. The X Shape provides all that. Very pleased.

Out of the box, this guitar stand took 10 seconds to assemble. It’s a super simple design, and I like the “wood” look better than a metal stand. And we didn’t want the kind you drill into the wall. This protects my son’s guitar (he uses a 3/4 size, so that’s the one shown) but it’ll be fine for a full size too. The foam edging around the stand is a nice touch- it ensures that he won’t ding or scratch his guitar if he sets it down too hard. I have zero complaints, and would 100 percent get this again!
