I'm using this with a 120-watt folding solar panel and a 300-watt camping bag power station, and everything has been just great, the extra long length is much more convenient than a short cable for on-the-go charging. The wires are a thick gauge but still pretty flexible, I don't even need to disconnect this cable from the panel when I'm done- I can just wrap it around the handles and it works great. Because these wires are joined into a single cord they store and travel much better than the split wire kind that tangle up and make a mess when you try to roll them back up. The MC4 connectors are sturdy and have water rings and clip on snugly. The XT60 connector is easy to pop on and off as needed. I'm very happy with this cable, it's doing great for me and seems quite reliable. 5-stars!

This review is for a MENTBERY XT60 Connector, MC4 to XT60 Extension Cable 10FTcable.This cable was purchased to connect an off brand 100wPV panel to my old Eco-Flow battery. If connected perfectly.Prior to installation, I dragged out my old FLUKE 75 VOM and the cable tested out perfectly for continuity and resistance. The M/F MC4 terminations snapped together firmly, and were relatively hard to remove, which *I* like, because it means to me that the tolerances are tight and may be more weatherproof. The XT60 termination went into the Battery port on the Eco-Flow perfectly and snugly.I appreciated the 10 ft length, because it allows me to get my battery box out of the sun, under cover to keep it cooler. If you are looking for a MC4 or XT60 cable, but this, it will meet your needs.

This 12 AWG cable is labeled with the gauge and insulation temperature (105 degrees C). That rating allows it to safely carry 30 Amperes, according to the NEC (National Electrical Code). A 200-watt solar panel will produce 16.5 Amperes at 12 volts, so this cable should be more than sufficient for typical solar applications. The MC4 connectors are high-quality, and the XT60 (female) is a molded connector, which should ensure it is waterproof. This cable is excellent for outdoor solar panel use.

This review is for the MENTBERY brand MC4 to XT60 extension cable. The wire is 12 AWG with 105 degree Celsius insulation. Note that this is not PV wire. This is standard two conductor (black/red) parallel wire. On the one hand, it makes this extension cable significantly smaller and easier to manage, but on the flip side, it is not UV resistant like PV wire. The XT60 is molded onto the cable with strain relief as pictured. The MC4 connectors are on solid, but one of the nuts on the back of an MC4 connector could easily be loosened by hand. The MC4 connectors mated perfectly with other MC4 I had handy.

We daily drive an Ecoflow River 2 Pro power station and I used to use a janky homemade cable to charge from 2x 100W Renogy solar panels. Top input used to be around 130W and that cable was in need of new connectors. Received this 10ft extension and not only is it well made, but charging has gone up by 10W. Obviously the mains cord based cable has been inferior to the wire used in this extension! The MC4 connectors make a strong click when attached to the solar panel MC4's and there is no play in them.Initially, the wire looked a little thin, but I was comparing to regular solar panel wiring and this wire is capable of 20 Amps... no problems at all for the most likely end use of charging something like a home power station. All in all, it has a more generous length than similarly priced cables (10ft compared to 4ft), is well made and I have confidence in it's ability to function well for many years.
