Great fit, although I have my doubts about how they will hold up over time.The first time wearing them, I remember wondering whether they would feel more comfortable in the water than they do on land--because on land, they rubbed in awkward places.The stitching looks like it will last, but my wetsuit has additional coating over the stitching and I love it. I miss having that on these boots. I think they will be warm enough, and if that's the case then it will be a great value. In the water, you don't have to spend a lot of time walking--unless you want to, so I expect these will work and feel just fine.

I obtained these as a Christmas gift for a friend, and he loves them. He does metal detecting as a hobby, and likes to detect in brooks, rivers and in the ocean.He mentioned to me that he was looking for new wetsuit boots, so I got these for him. He tried them out, and told me that he loves them. They're watertight, fit well and are comfortable. They're high quality and exactly what he was looking for!Recommended.

I have never worn a wetsuit or wetsuit boots before, so please consider that while reading my review. Note that it's still winter here, so I haven't had these out on the water yet, I've only worn them around the house to get a feel for them. I will update my review once I am able to use them on the lake.I will use these paddleboarding and kayaking early and late in the season when the water is cold.These boots appear to be very well made. All of the seams look good, and the zipper operates smoothly. I have no complaints about the quality.The zipper makes them very easy to get on and off. However, there is a downside to this, in that they don't fasten very tightly. I wish that they had a strap that went around the ankle at the very least. The other pair that I have has that and an instep strap and it fastens to my foot much more securely and therefore provides better support.The soles on these boots are thick and sturdy, so these would be very good to wear on rocky terrain. I think I would prefer something thinner for boards and sandy/softer ground. Traction is very good. They also have some inseam protection with a strip of rubber that extends from the toe to the bottom of the ankle. I doubt this will be useful for paddleboarding or kayaking but it might be important for other water sports.The inside bottom of the boot has a sharpish edge around the outside perimeter of the sole. It's probably glue that squeezed out from under the footpad, though it's hard to tell. My left boot is worse than the right, so all boots may not be affected. It's not terrible but it is a little uncomfortable and I wish it were smoother.I do think these boots will work well for my use case and I will update this review as soon as I get them out in the water.

Well made of quality materials. So far, I’ve just used them for a few shore excursions, but they were comfy and warm in the cool water, so I was happy about that. Fit is as expected. They’re heavy duty enough that I wasn’t worried about the possibility of damage. Waterprooofing is great. Not super heavy, but not super light either. Just a functional pair of neoprene diving booties. Wish I could cinch the ankle more, but it works!

Comfortable, and definitely feels made to last but must get to a beach to come back for an update. One star gone because the strap doesn't wrap all the way around the ankle but other than that, seems to have good grip and good comfort. Will return with an update after some actual beach time

So far, I've used these for getting around in shallow areas in the ocean tide, and they've been great. I can feel larger protruding rocks underneath, but they are sturdy. The stitching is all solid, and the adhesive between the bottom and neoprene looks good.I got the 3mm weight, and a little after the water entered the boot (from the top of the ankle...below that they're waterproof), the water warmed up, and my feet stayed warm in the January cold California central coast waters. The length of the boot fit my size 10 feet well, though I wouldn't want them any smaller. I do wish the ankle strap was able to be tightened more; it feels a little loose. But once I use it with my wetsuit, I think the wetsuit legs will keep a good grip on the top of the boots.Overall, I'm happy with these an look forward to more ocean time with them.
