It is a high quality pouch but it is way too big for my Solo 8x36. I can fit the Solo inside of its default case inside of this case.

I was looking for a case for my nocs monocular and this is perfect.It has a belt loop that fastens with thick strips of velcro, but I mostly use the carabiner to attach it to whatever bag/backpack I'm using. It is super soft inside, with decent padding for knocks, but maybe not so much for sharp drops, if that's a concern.This case also fits a mini-tripod, so I'm very happy with this purchase.
