This is a cool looking pool thermometer that sports a retro look. I like how buoyant it is, the flamingo bobs up and down but always remains upright. It is made out of durable materials and includes a leash that you can tie off to a pool wall component to keep it from floating off. It is also very easy to read. Overall a great product.

This is a very basic pool thermometer. It's accurate - it measured my house at 76 after it laid on the counter for a few minutes, which was also what my themostat said. Floats in the pool as expected. I like dumb themometers like this - I've gone through too many digital that end up going on the fritz or dying to easily. I expect the vibrant flamingo will fade in the Florida sun like they all do, but the thermometer will keep on ticking. At only $6, it's cheaper than my pool store.

I got this thermometer because it has the temperature scale printed in a large clear font in both Fahrenheit and in Centigrade degrees. It also has personality.Of course, the pool skimmer captured it on day one, but they all do that, pretty much.

Super cute and accurate. It floats well and has a little hole so that the water can get right into it to give a more accurate temp. I like that it has the string to tie to the edge so you can grab it every time.

This little guy works perfect for my intended use. I placed him in my fish pond to monitor the temperature in the spring and fall to see when it was time to switch food types. No more dipping my hand into cold water to retrieve my other thermometer.

I was concerned that this wouldn't keep the correct temperature when I notice how the thermometer was attached/glued on (see pic). But, the thermometer is keeping the correct temperature, comparing it to our digital gauge.Cute little flamingo now floating in the pool.

Not large but unobtrusive. Its hard to find an old school thermometer nowadays that doesn't need batteries to function. This is very clear to read (and I did check its accuracy - perfect - with a digital thermometer.
