It arrived a day earlier than expected!!!... 2 day shipping!!!.. the instructions were just pictures but this product is pretty self explanatory.. It will be very easy to put together if you dont have your husband and his big ole thumbs try to help you.. for stability we did zip tie the ramps to the platforms as we are using this for a very rambunctious "cat" and removed the hammock for now for safety. once the " cat " is calmer we will put it back in.. it was just a hazard as a leg, an arm and head got stuck right off the bat.. but this item is perfect for what we need it for.. very stable, solid and great for the price

I had to wait twice as long to receive this because the first one got lost in transit, which is not the sellers fault and I didn't rate it any less because of that. It was packed well. All the parts were included. The instructions went from step 1 to step 3, yet all the pages were there. I think just a poorly made manual. Quite hard to follow anyway because all it gives you is small pictures. After I figured it out though it was a piece of cake. This is what worked really good for me, and no need for spare zip ties. Lay the whole main frame out flat. Put the plastic bottom into place. Then flip the cage on it's side, with the narrower width of the cage on the ground and facing up. Screw the four wheels into the bottom. I didn't need any tools for this, I just made them hand tight. Next, hook the wall that is on the ground to each of the sides of the cage using the black hooks. You will notice flat half rings on each side also that are going straight out. Make sure those stay on the outside of the cage, not going inside the cage at all. Once you have the bottom hooked, then flip the top wall up and do the same thing. Then flip it back up on the wheels and put the top on. It was actually really easy doing like this. I noticed a number of reviews stating you need extra zip ties, but in reality, you don't at all. It seems pretty sturdy to me and no big gaps anywhere that a cat could get out. Overall I am pleased with this product and would recommend it.Left something out in my first review that I thought I should come back and add. Before I assembled the cage I contacted the seller and asked how I could go about getting another instruction manual because the one I had was incomplete. They sent me an email back with a list of all the parts of the cage and told me to list the parts I was missing and email them back. That parts list didn't include a manual anywhere. So they seem pretty incompetent with understanding plain English. So just a heads up on that.

This cage worked great to house two orphaned kittens. Since we already had four cats and a chihuahua, we needed to be able to keep them safe while the rest of the house got used to them. There was plenty of space for a small litter box and their food and water bowls on the first level. As they grew, they didn’t need the ladders as much to go between levels. We zip tied the shelves down because the kittens kept popping them out of place while they played. The hammock was strong enough to hold both of them while they slept. We hung a scratching board on the lower level and hanging toys on the top levels. This cage provided plenty of space for them to play until they became big enough to join our other pets.01.22.24 We have had multiple kittens quarantine in this cage since 2018. We’re up to 16 cats now. This cage has held up well. We have a rug on the top of the cage which has helped the older cats get used to kittens as they were added to our cat clan.

This product was not difficult to assemble with a little common sense. The instructions are useless, but all you need to know is that if the hook goes over then the “u tabs” go under or the other way around. I prefer to start by laying all four sides out, and then, I put the back up and connect the sides. Once those are connected I walk around to the front and connect the front to the sides. You should not have to try to hold it together when you do this if you connected the panels correctly. I have put it together and taken it down several times for travel. It is heavy but goes very flat so I consider it portable. Just put the shelves and ladders in the bottom then fold down the back, sides and lastly front. Use something like a zip tie or large twist tie to hold top layer to bottom layer. Only bummer is that the tray doesn’t slide out of this one, but overall great value for what I paid.
