When it comes to the lifeblood of your recreational vehicle, why take chances with a substitute manufacturer? Give your investment the protection it deserves with authentic Yamaha outboards. *Yamaha outboard models of 115 HP or less may require the MAR-MINIF-IL-TR Fuel/Water Separating filter. This is completely up to the boat manufacturer and dependent on available space in the boats transom. If you are unsure, please check your current set-up before purchasing. Thanks!

The filter works great. I replaced the 9 year old unit that came with the boat. Note I had a heck of a time removing the old filter. It required a filter wrench and a bunch of torque. I recommend using a little petroleum jelly on the seal to make removal the next time a little easier.

Worked exactly like it should have. It even has the Yamaha labeling on it matched the one I took off perfectly .That always gives me more confidence.

Amazon as always, never disappoints. Great Price and here in 2 days with Prime. I am "Old School" and try to always stick with OEM parts when possible - worth the few extra bucks imo. Some folks asked about Yamaha Fuel/Water change interval. For me, back to "Old School again, " (Read & Follow the the manufacturer's Instructions).Manufacturer recommends for my motor:"Initially replace filter at 10 hours or 1 months whichever comes first. Thereafter, replace filter every 50 hours or 6 months, whichever comes first. In areas of high humidity where water in fuel supplies is a problem or extensive operation occurs, more frequent replacement may be necessary." Hope this helps and saves some digging around time. Safe Boating! :)
