I recently purchased a Yamaha DTX8K-M e-kit and wanted to add an additional cymbal pad. I couldn't find anything definitive but this is the same clamp that rack uses for the tom and cymbal connections. It doesn't fully open up so you need to take the rack apart a bit to in my case slide this clamp between the two rack tom clamps to get the additional cymbal mounted. The cymbal (PCY135) and cymbal arm (CH755) come tomorrow but I have reasonable confidence this will do what I wanted it to do. I had to order the PCY Cymbal Anti-Spin Stopper, that comes with the original kit cymbal arms, used from Reverb as the only new ones I found were from Europe or Japan. Not sure why Yamaha makes it difficult to determine all the parts needed and then difficult to find where you can get them.

I am very impressed with the quality of craftsmanship and the fit of this rack clamp and I have no problem saying that it is 100% better than the OEM Yamaha rack clamps that came with my E-Drums

These rack clamps are pretty tough, fit rack well, made well. The only problem i had, (which may vary per customer), is i found the tightening screws a little difficult to turn. i really had to use much effort. But overall would buy them again.

Clamp did what it supposed to do. Sleeve is pretty thick, maybe a stepper for a 0.5" arm. Too small for my 5/8 for sure. One star off for not describing sleeve better.

Not as pictured. Only has one tension screw on the back. Must of been a pic of an older version clamp. No complaints!! Works great!!
