I converted a 3x9 to a 1x11. The chain has not dropped, it stays on just fine. I did have to file parts of the chainring to fit my old crank, but that was not a big deal.

This was easy to install. Appears to be made well ... time will tell. The red adds a splash of color. Most importantly it adds the gearing I was looking for with my Ebike.Followup: after several weeks, I cannot believe the difference this minor change makes! It is just what was needed.

Very good big gear it wouldn't work on my unit because it's a cheapo and was riveted with look like torx head screwd but were rivets. Serious a$$..le engineering. So I ended up changing the rear gear set.

I'm no high-end MTBer - I do mostly black trails, but I prefer modest speeds, picking my way through old school technical trails, rather than fast flowing trails with lots of jumps. I was looking for a 30t 104BCD chainring as the smallest that would work on my current hardtail bike setup. The color option and price caught my eye. I can't yet speak to durability - I probably only have 12 or 14 hours on this - but it works smoothly and flawlessly so far. Very pleased!!

The oval chainring is making a trend. This is the best way to try it out. If you have the patience you can grind it down to fit, but it most wont fit. I returned it for a black one to be painted and match the crank arms.

Los platos de la bicicleta sufren desgaste como cualquier otro componente mecánico. El plato es el encargado de transmitir la fuerza de nuestras piernas a la rueda a través de la cadena, por lo que tener le plato con todos sus dientes en optimas condiciones es algo fundamental para que la cadena no sufra, se salga o le cueste de engranar en el cambio de marcha. Cuando empezamos a observar estos síntomas es bueno comprobar el estado de los platos. si los dientes comienzan a tener un aspecto afilado o hay alguno partido mejor cambiarlo cuanto antes. Si somos un poco manitas, lo podemos hacer nosotros mismos.A parte del natural desgaste, pueden haber otras razones para sustituir el plato, como el cambio de relación de marchas o la sustitución por un plato con unas determinadas características o estética. Este plato rojo supone un importante toque de color donde antes no lo había.En mi caso, en una de mis bicicletas provista de un plato de 36 dientes, el plato aún original de la bicicleta presentaba un par de dientes que prácticamente habían desaparecido y el resto tenían un aspecto afilado. Casualmente es la única de las tres bicicleta que tiene un BCD de 104 (distancia entre ejes de tornillos), por lo que este plato viene genial. Hay que asegurarse bien de que el plato es compatible con nuestra bicicleta.El plato es muy ligero, se nota que es aluminio, pero a la vez se ve resistente. Está muy bien cortado, hoy en día el láser hace maravillas. Para quitar el otro plato tuve hecha aceite para que aflojase y padecí, pues los tornillos no encajaban perfectamente en la llave allen, como si de una medida intermedia no comercial se tratase, por lo que han acabado inservibles. Por fortuna el nuevo plato ya ha previsto que pueda ocurrir esto y viene con tornillería nueva, con lo que no hubo problema con ello.

Mycket tjockare än in gamla, fick kompensera med att ta bort brickor för att den skulle passa. Sitter ändå inte optimalt.
