Im not experienced with acoustic foam so I thought any sticky tape would work. Narurally I bought a roll of double sided tape since my local hardware store didnt have the dot ones, but it did not stick! It took forever to cut 4 strips per foam, so when they fell off shortly after I was bummed. But worry I decided not do, so I took to the interwebs and did some research and found that 3M command strips work best. Since those are pricey I bought 2 packs of 48 poster strips which are the smaller ones. I used 1 strip on the middle of the foam for the ones I put side by side and 2 strips on the ones that are singularly hanging on the wall. So far so good. 3M command strips to the rescue! I put the foam around the room and the door.I purchased these hoping to reduce the echo in the bedroom and hopefully also the dull outside noise in the bedroom. I think they will help with noise reduction.

I like the product but some of the black tiles are not the same shade of black. This is my 2nd purchase and the first ones were all the same and I was very pleased with them but the black tiles from my 2nd purchase are inconsistent so I can't use all of them because they wouldn't look right.

This is my first time buying something like this, but I did my research, and I reach what the ideal items to use would be. I liked the color available, so I bought this pack of 52.Well doesn't do me much good if I can't hang them on the wall. Command strips seem to be the most common type of adhesive to use to hang up your foam, and the strips stick to the wall plenty strong, but they don't stick to the foam at all. No amount of holding pressure down on the strip gets it to stay on the foam. Put it up, and it might stay there for 2 minutes, but they fall right down.Clearly this is bad material and not suited for it's purpose.

I have a super noisy neighbor putting her hear up against the wall that we share. I was really frustrated with her and not feeling like I had any privacy. Bought these, used the double sided tape,applied to my wall. Works great!
