At first, it wouldn’t turn on at all. I think it is something to do with the contact not being made between the like bar and the base but I can’t say for sure. I did send a request for help to the company, but I did not receive anything. So it’s a good thing that the problem fixed itself. Removing the cover of the remote should have been a simple task but it was not made clear that the cover is essentially just a little lid and requires your fingers to push down on it not the entire remote itself so removing it was very frustrating until finally realized that that’s what you’re supposed to do , This is now my third light bar. The one before that was also a remote and quit working within two days so I was a bit leery in ordering this one but so far it functions really well it’s the fairly good quality for a monitor light. using it on a 27 inch Scepter monitor The RGB without the app control works well, but so far I have not been able to get the Yeelight App, due to what I can only surmise is a technical issue and given that I don’t have any Razer products I cannot use that app. The brightness is very good as is the various settings that can be changed from warm to cool light. It’s what I expect from a light bar of this quality and value. It is a good value for the money I don’t know if I would recommend it to everyone, but it will be probably best for users that already have a Razer product.

It is relatively affordable product with all the features comparing with other brands.Easy to set it up within minutes.The colorful lights from the back makes it perfect both for study and gaming.Comparable with mijia, Alexa and google.

I have 50+ smart devices from different brands including govee, tuya, yolink, wyze, and many more. This is the hardest device to connect to our router. Reset 10x and tried to connect to our router 10x with xiamoi app and yeelight and it always fail. I 100% recommend for you to look somewhere else. For a product that with a premium price, this should not be like this. Highly dissapointed.

I absolutely love my Yeelight. There is so much go to say about this. It seems to perfectly light up my desk area and JUST my desk area. My desk is in my room and my wife is very sensitive to light while she’s sleeping. The lamp pointing down perfectly lights up my work area and not the rest of the room around. FANTASTIC! And the ambient light pointing up gives out a calming glow on the wall above. I love love love that I can control this with Alexa too. Speaking of control, it came with a little wireless controller that looks awesome and is super intuitive to use. It’s a little clickable dial. You can rotate it to adjust the brightness, or push it to turn it on or off. OR double click it to get into adjustments for the ambient light. This light is awesome. And it will be on my desk for years and years to come. I would highly recommend this.

No glare even with a stacked monitor setup but really needs the app to customize and control it properly. Manual says to download the Yeelight app but it’s actually Yeelight Classic for this model.
