This kit was more than I expected. I didn't pay that much attention when ai ordered it and though it was just some spackle type paste. This kit also included a screen patch to repair larger holes in drywall, not just some scre holes. The paste is white, but can be painted to mat h your wall. It's pretty easy to use. 18oz doesn't go that far, but since the majority of my use is filling holes from removed screws, it's more than enough.i didn't really time how long it dries. Generally I patch the hole and do something else and don't go back to it until the next day. It's fully dry way before then.

I got this to patch up some nail and screw holes in my walls after I move things around that hang on the walls. I like that this container has a separate inner seal to it (see pic) to keep the product fresh when not in use. I find that to be the most disappointing thing on most wall patch...the lid does not seal well enough to keep the product's optimal consistency. This inner plastic seal fixes that issue, and does it well with a nice, tight seal that is made so it is pretty easy to get off. The tools it comes with (scraper, sandpaper and patch mesh) are small but serviceable. I have found the product itself to be on par with other similar products I have used. Overall, this is a great set for small patch jobs, it is really handy to have around, and I am very happy with it.

So, I had a couple of those annoying little holes in my drywall from hanging pictures, and I decided to give this YKF Drywall Repair Kit a shot. Honestly, I'm pretty impressed with how easy it was to use.First off, the kit comes with everything you need: the spackle paste, a scraper, and even some mesh patches for larger holes. That saved me a trip to the hardware store, which is always a plus.WHAT I LIKE:* Easy to apply: The paste has a nice consistency – not too thick, not too runny. It went on smoothly and was easy to spread with the scraper.* Quick drying: I was able to paint over the patches within a couple of hours, which was way faster than I expected.* Good coverage: It filled the holes and cracks really well, and the finish was smooth and even.* Paintable: The paste took paint really well, and the patched areas blended seamlessly with the rest of the wall.* Value for money: For the price, you get a decent amount of spackle and all the necessary tools.A COUPLE THINGS TO NOTE:* Sanding: While the finish is pretty smooth, you might need to do a little light sanding for a perfectly seamless repair, especially if you're dealing with larger holes.* Strong odor: The paste has a bit of a chemical smell, but it dissipates quickly. Make sure to ventilate the area while you're working.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this YKF Drywall Repair Kit for anyone who needs to fix small holes or cracks in their walls. I ordered this kit to test alongside a kit I bought at Walmart. I just got a rent house that needed repairs and this stuff worked like a charm. The kit comes with everything you need to fix small to medium sized holes. The mesh held up well and was easy to apply the spackle to. It dries fast and afterwards the paint goes on easy and didn’t show as much as the store bought stuff. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to fix their drywall.
