Search YouTube , 2024 US MTB Series, Stump Jump. My GoPro survived this bike race in the rain and mud thanks to these silicone plugs and a gopro battery door that allows external battery connection.

I was doing a long distance paddle and wanted a way to supply continuous power to a camera without having to worry about killing my equipment if anything got splashed (it definitely did) or submerged. I put an external battery in a waterproof case and drilled a hole on one end for the cable. This stuff perfectly sealed the hole around the cable and the exposed port on the camera. No worries at all for over 32 miles. And it's reusable!
