Looks good when printed by the cleanup is a nightmare. It's wrecked 2 fep films as it sticks to it when doing a VAT clean. If your happy to replace the FEP or use it when it's nearly time for replacement it is good.

Ok, so this resin is so pretty, but the copper is way more red than I was expecting. Tried a few big and small prints with lots of mixing in hopes of fixing it, but no dice. Seems like an oranger base would work better to get that color. For a moment I thought I received the wrong color but it is labeled metallic copper. I’m still going to use this cause it has a great price and it is a very pretty garnet color, but looks like the copper dragon I got this for is going to have to wait

The metallic gold product description is clear that the metallic effect works best when looking at the print from the top (down on the build plate). If anything they are underselling it. Prints are slightly transparent black and yellow from the side, with no metallic effect whatsoever. There is nothing I can imagine printing with this where the effect would work out. If you want a gold effect, just use black resin and hit it with some Rub n Buff.Cleanup of my resin tank was a mess. This stuff sticks to everything and leaves a sludge of glittery bits.On the plus side, it printed easily with the settings provided in the package.

You need to print slow, per the directions, and the uncured pieces are VERY brittle, but the final results look fantastic. Just be careful pulling of the build plate and wash very well. I’d wash first with a little fresh IPA and a toothbrush to get the finish looking excellent. Learned that the hard way with test prints.

I've bought Yousu products before, usually for my FDM printer. The last filament I bought from them completely destroyed my hotend on that, but they replaced it with a new filament quickly and my new upgraded hotend didn't die from it. That's why when I got a Halot Mage this year I decided to give Yousu and a few others a shot.I've used Sirayatech, Creality, Sunlu and Yousu resins in this printer so far.The Yousu resin failed to print it's first time, so I double checked the manufacturer's recommended settings, resliced and got something that was so brittle it shattered as I was removing it from the buildplate despite the raft doing ok.Figuring it might be time to change my FEP, I got out a brand new FEP, cleaned the resin through a strainer and printed again. This time, I hollowed out the print to make sure it would cure properly. The outside was 4mm thick, but everything was blobby, no details, you could barely tell it was a wolf. This is after two minutes in a wash and 5 minutes of curing. It was also very brittle again, but not as brittle as before.I decided to see how it would do in a mix and so I performed a cleaning cycle but the stuff would not come up off the fep. It was like paper had been rubber cemented to the fep. So after just one cycle with this resin I was out two $20 fep films. Thus far the only use I've found for this resin that actually works is to mix it with the Sirayatech clear blu 20% silver resin. Making sure that at least 50 to 80%% Sirayatech clear blu helps to stabilize this and produces an acceptable print while minimizing the damage to the fee. It imparts a pleasant shimmer, and the roughness can be sanded out with 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper and of course the Sirayatech clear blu is a tough flexible resin so it doesn't fall apart when you pull it off the build plate.Just be careful, I don't know what this stuff is made with, but it is highly abrasive. It will damage delicate parts, so don't stir it in the vat. Instead, pour it back into the bottle and shake it thoroughly between prints.

This resin takes way longer to cure compared to other resins. The final print will have an amazing top and bottom layer that shines and reflects light really well making the print look good but all the layers in between them don't shine, those layers just sorta sparkle a bit and are dark blue. I even tried stirring the resin every 5 minutes of one of the prints with the same result. Without a very bright light those layers don't pop or show details. Depending how your orientate your model on the plate you will either have an amazing looking print or a lackluster print. Personally I won't waste my money on this type of resin again.

I printed one my Elegoo mars 3 using similar settings to black resin and had pretty great results, looks really cool with the metallic silver effect, shake well and stir before printing!

Gold prints at 6seconds not 3-4 seconds as advertised. My lift speed was 3mm a second and retract was 2mm a second. And the regular lift distance was 10mm. Bottom layers were 12mm lift distance. The machine I was using was elegoo saturn. What I don't like is the long exposure time and it is double the recommended exposure setting. I don't like that the gold reflects on one side not all sides. I wish it was more golden like 24k golden. Like a more serious gold. I used pikaslicer because I have found it prints faster than all the other slicers. What I do like is the results were clean and besides my wishes, it is pretty cool looking 😎. It seems pretty strong too. I would be 5 of 5 but the longer prints deducted it and the expectation were set wrong. I needed more time to test on much much larger prints. But I would recommend this for future users. I can’t speak for the results of larger prints.
