The padding is a bit stiffer and more rigid than others my son has tried. It was a bit painful at first until after softening it up after a couple of weeks of tackling.It was more comfortable for him after that.4 Stars

I like the fit and padding of this shirt. However, for a baseball shirt the upper shoulder pads are unnecessary making the shirt a bit bulky. It is so bulky you can see the pads through an under shirt and the jersey. Plus, it makes it a bit uncomfortable for baseball play with all the throwing/pitching. I think for football play this shirt would be perfect for football padding but a bit too much for baseball play. With that being said, the shirt is high quality, the pads supply plenty of padding for protection. Lastly, the shirt runs true to size and fit pretty well. Knowing how bulky it is, it would be interesting to see how well the smaller size would fit to slim down the pads. With the quality of pads and shirt, it does make this shirt angood value for the money!

This probably won't fit next year anyway so the fact that it will only last you one season shouldn't be too big a deal. As long as you look at it as one and done you won't disappointed.The foam feels a tad cheaper than other padded shirts I have worked with but not enough to knock off a star. Price is fairly consistent with other padded shirts on the market.Thumbs up

This is the second padded shirt we've bought this season and we got it especially for the addition of the pads at the shoulders. They really helped my kiddo lead more with his shoulder than his head (he's still learning the basics) and he said he feels almost nothing with these pads and the football pads. It also washes really well too.

i got this shirt because i had another one and my son said his shoulders hurt and asked if i could get him a under shirt with pads on the shoulders and this has made a huge difference, it protects him fully as needed, fit is as expected and he says he feels much better at practice so thats all i can hope forthink it also helps with some padding between him and the padsoverall very happy with thisitem is as descibed and pictured

The fit is a little loose on the bottom, but it’s durable and comfortable for my little football player. It helps provide the extra padding for practice and games. It’s a great price!

Ordered this shirt for my son for football. He loves the extra padding and it is holding up nicely. We have washed it half a dozen times and still looks like it did day one. This will definitely last several football seasons.
