So, these are probably a good idea for youth and small adults. I would not base fit on the height and weight chart within the Amazon photos. That really isn't a good guide. For instance, I am a petite female (I wear a small pants size), and I can wear these just fine.Next, the level of protection (considering speed, force, and terrain) is probably only for bicycle, skateboarding, etc. but not gas or power motor sports.Also, I only received the knee pads, and they do have reasonably good straps, but again, these are inexpensive pads, so don't expect superior quality. However the price does match what you get!!The comfort for wearing, standing, walking, moving all directions, and so forth is pretty good. No complaints!!In summary, they are okay for lower level activities and smaller framed bodies.

a great combination of design makes these both incredibly lightweight and durable at the same time. brings a certain amount of protection, feels secure and they can be tightened down pretty easily to bring extra assurance. there may have been some crossover with the sizing, one set being youth, the other being adult? the elbow guards do fit an adult male just fine, but that also seems fairly relative. the shin guards also fit him really well, so i'm not sure why the elbow pads are listed as youth size, maybe they are, but we didn't have a problem with them. needed them to be lightweight enough to be able to move readily and durable enough to withstand heavy blows or potential road rash, and these certainly do that

These knee and elbow pads are not at all as expected. The material they are made from is quite stiff, when I put them on my son they don't fit very securely, the straps are very cheap made. I don't think these will help at all with bulbs or falls. I did try them on myself and a 16 year old and they don't fit, at this time it seems more for kids 10 and under. Overall I'm not very confident in this product and I don't recommend.

When I ordered these they were $60 minus a 50% off coupon. As a Vine reviewer the full $60 will be reported to the IRS as ordinary taxable income to me, so that is the price at which I am reviewing them, though their actual value is the far lower amount that customers actually pay. I wish that sellers would simply price their products realistically, and stop the coupon nonsense.As I write this, days after placing the order, the price has dropped to $50, still minus 50%. They would be a good deal at $25-$30, but are a lousy deal at the $60 I'm being taxed at.There is only one size offered. A couple of the images show motorcyclists wearing them. For me, they are too small for that. I'm 6' and over 200lbs, but I don't store fat in my arms or legs. To keep them free of sweat I would want to wear these guards over clothing. The straps aren't long enough to fit them over my motorcycle leathers, and they would not fit under my leathers. So, they will be restricted to downhill mountain biking and hover boarding.I was able to get them comfortably on over sweatpants and a sweatshirt, but it wasn't quick or easy to put them on. The straps are all a bit too short. Even when fully loosened the guards don't readily slide on over clothing. So the straps must first be completely released, and it's awkward to attempt to reattach the loose arm straps while the guards are held in position.The description says that they are "ergonomically designed and can be bent," and that they are "very comfortable to wear" long term. The knee pads never fully straighten ‒ they don't bend like that. They'd be comfortable on a bicycle, with legs bent, and they'd probably be comfortable enough with knees slightly bent on a skateboard or hoverboard, but they'd be quite uncomfortable if much walking were done.The elbow guards feel comfortable, though they don't work at all with the armrests on my computer chair.

The description says kids and adult making it confusing. They are very well made and look like they would be very functional....for a child. These do not fit an average adult. They would not be comfortable for an adult. They look great, though.

Overall decent elbow and knee pads. The joint between the knee and shin pad bends adequately, and the straps hold them in place fairly well. They are on the smaller side, though, so they might only fit on smaller adults or children. I'm not sure they would provide protection for motorsports or anything, but they should be fine for biking or other lower speed things. One did come with some odd dirt or mold on it, though, which I had to clean off.
