I ordered a bunch of panels during Prime Day last year. They are the only ones I could find that came in 9ft. There are also x4 11” panels per box which is double what other brands are selling for the same cost.They are very easy to install. I screwed a bunch of 4ft wood lath strips onto the wall and then nailed the panels onto the strips. This got them off the wall a bit for better sound dampening and also to clear the baseboard. I did have to do some maths to figure out the openings for the outlets. That was really the hardest part. I have trim rings on the way from Fastcap for that extra touch but the openings were cut clean enough that I could do without if I wanted.I used a jigsaw, circular saw, nailer and oscillating tool to complete the install and I must say they came out very nice. The wood veneer looks great. I ordered around 11 boxes and they all arrived in perfect condition. In the end I got the high end look I was going for at a great value.

Easy to install, beautiful add to the room. No problem installing and very simple to add anyone can install.It took my husband 3 hours, scratch very easily, black it’s not true black it looks more like brown black, the nails are visible, and definitely noise blocker.

I wanted to add a little sound treatment and I really liked the way these looked. The 9 foot length was perfect for my wall, I didn't even have to cut them to length. I did measure and plan ahead so I didn't have to cut down one of the wood strips for the final width. Cutting the acoustic panel is very easy. I installed them using 1 and 3/4 drywall screws. They look great and improved the acoustics in my living room.

These panels are very attractive and I seem to be getting more bang for my buck than with alternative panels of the same nature. I bought two boxes on Black Friday and received them the next day. I have them propped up but not mounted yet. I intend to start that process Tomorrow. However, they look really good and I believe that they will make an acoustic difference. I was in a car accident in April which left me with impaired hearing and my high end stereo and I aren’t getting along very well because high frequencies attack my eardrums. So I got these panels in order to really absorb high frequencies or to keep them from bouncing around the room as much. The panels seem to make a difference even in their propped up state. Update: I have mounted them in my den using 3M Command strips (super easy) and they have had a very pronounced improvement in the acoustics of my room. High frequencies no longer attack my injured hearing. The sound does not sound muffled (like under a pillow)...it just sounds, somehow, purer like bouncing sound waves are not fighting with each other. Very happy result. ===== Addendum: the 3M Command strips did not work because the "felt" backing of the panels cannot be gripped adequately the adhesive, so I have screwed them to drywall using drywall screws...about 4 in each one. I used black screws I cannot see the head from my seating position. They are holding very well. Also, in addition to dispersing the sound such that it is not injurious to my hearing, I have noticed the directionality in the stereo field is much more precisely located...a benefit I had not planned on.

We tried to use construction adhesive like it said in the introduction, but the glue was absorbed like a sponge and ended up ruining my wall. We also tried to fix it with nails, but the sponge board was too soft and it just ruined it. I'm now trying to patch my wall, but I don't know if I can get it back to its original state.
