i wasnt specifically looking for a tape measure with a good aesthetic but this one popped up and im glad i bought it. the material on the outside is smooth to hold, i like that the tape itself is thin, and its retractable which is also a major plus. i'll be buying a lot of online clothing soon so i wanted to take my measurements.

I put magnets on the back of my tape measures to keep them handy but always knock them off and the case breaks open. I couldn’t tell you how many loose tapes I have because they’re too hard to put together again and they’re cheap to replace. But I wanted a durable one. I wrapped thin tape around my old tape measure with the magnet attached. It will probably hold up through a fall on the floor but it isn’t pretty. Compare to this new one that the case is sewn shut. It won’t come apart on impact. Plus it’s prettier then the taped up one! I will get several of these to keep around the house and in my purse for travel. Plus they make great gifts for my family and friends who sew and craft.
