When my Dodge Journey had been running for some time, the traction control light came on and this affected its operation and speed, I checked it with a scanner and it indicated that the camshaft sensor was not working, I changed it and now works excellent.

It is fitted and working. Great to fix my own car with simply buying this item.

I'm using the 2014 Jeep Compass as a replacement, but I think it's okay to clean and use the existing one.

My kid has a 2012 Jeep Patriot that I’d bought this for, which two are needed btw. After installing, the car ran worse and the same codes were still popping up. After researching a lil more, I came across other’s mentioning that when it came to sensors, ‘off’ brand are a no-no for Jeep vehicle's. Did see one commenter mention that they’d installed the BWD brand from Advanced Auto with success, which is where I usually get my parts. So, before biting the bullet and ordering Mopar, I decided to give BWD a try, and to my relief, they worked! So, by trying to save a few dollars by purchasing these, it ended up ‘costing’ me more in time and aggravation! ..Lesson learned!
