Hooked it up to gigatronics test equipment and found its lowest vswr was for 830 NOT 915mhz. At 915 it was over 2.2VSWR!

Hardware supplied for mounting the antenna to the supplied bracket was too short, poor quality, returned.

EDIT: There was an adapter included to change it from RP-SMA to SMA, but it was buried in the box and loose so I didn't see it until I was trying to repack to exchange. The antenna works ok, not as much pickup as I had hoped for, but it does help a lot. The craftsmanship is still not very good, so I'm leaving a star of for that reason.I ordered this for same day delivery because I wanted to get it going this weekend. When it arrived and I started getting it pulled together, I noticed there was sealant all over the body of it like they didn't wipe off the excess drips. The biggest issue is that the cable is missing the center pin on the SMA side! I'm glad I didn't hook it up and expect to transmit anything , it would have destroyed the radio. I've already submitted to Amazon for a replacement, so I'll update if the replacement is better, but now I can't work on my project this weekend and I'm pretty bummed about it.

To start off, I'm replacing this antenna not three weeks after receiving it.It picks up nodes (Meshtastic) up to 29 km away at just 8 meters high! But it doesn't transmit near as far. Maybe two miles.Connected to a RAK v2. And I didn't use the included cable instead got a rokland sma to Type N adapter bulkhead. Power tests show it's putting out 31db from the rak. Just don't know where it's all going.

I get better signal from my LoRa radios from the short whip or the ones that look like they are from a Wifi router. Do not waste your money. You aren't finding other people because there probably isn't anyone. Not because you don't have a good enough antenna.
