Spent a while trying to figure out why this won't send MIDI from my MPC to my Roland Aira S-1. It won't work, likely due to issues other reviews have pointed out (neither type A or B).Skip this adapter if you're using it for MIDI.

This cable won't work for midi, it's neither Type A nor Type BDescription says it is "Suitable for MIDI interconnections." but it's not.Beside that it is useless for midi, the cable quality is good, feels sturdy

I bought this to see if it would be able to adapt the Honda DIN plug on my 2002 Goldwing to a 3.5mm standard headphone jack. Turns out it works great. My Cardo Scala Q1 has a cord that adapts the mini USB to a 3.5mm male this then goes between the two flawlessly.
