Product fits perfectly and unlike the out-of-the-box yellow inserts that are provided with the saw this insert is flush with the base.

I should run it through my planer since it sticks up a few mm above the metal but it’s mdf and idk if I’ll mess it up. At least the holes line up.

Perfect fit for a DeWalt DWS780 miter saw. Took 2 minutes to install. It is also flush with the base which is better than the stock throat plate.

Good solid MDF insert. Fits the saw better than the OEM insert. Sits flush with the miter saw table. Good addition to my Dewalt compound miter saw. If you are making compound cuts recommend switching back to the OEM insert however.
