Received Bennic brand capacitors, so top quality. Worked great in my old speaker crossovers.

These were very helpful on my Hertz speakers. The ones that came with the ST25 tweeters broke, however I think these do a much better job than the ones the manufacturer provided originally.

I finally installed these, years later. I can say, WOW! Amps have High pass filters but, these filter in a way that keeps those hidden frequencies from going into your tweeters. I know I have damaged tweeters because I didn't use them, they crackle at curtain music tones. I installed these and now the crackling is gone. So, I know for sure, these are working. I still need to replace my tweeters but for now, with these, my audio sounds great!BTW, if you have a Taramps, or any other amp that only has 3-leg speaker outputs, a nice trick is, use 1 on the middle leg of the speaker outputs on the amp, and twist or solder the speaker wires on the other end. you won't need two filters that way.

Well Although I am yet to install these I was pleasantly surprised to see these were actually Bennic capacitors. They are a very large supplier of capacitors and I’ve purchased them before under the Dayton name as well. With my research I was pretty certain the XPP were the 5% Tolerance Bennic. I have used the 1% as well but couldn’t justify the added price. No real difference. Even though the photo showed a different name on Amazon they are Bennic. Maybe you will get the same but the black cop with yellow sides is usually a good indication. Again these are the Dayton and others I’m sure but Bennic is the OEM. I’m sure they’ll work out fine for my vintage Boston Acoustic A40 speakers from 1981.
