This is my second Zinus Swirl topper and I could not be happier. We had the first one for 10 years and it performed beautifully. We recently changed our mattress after 20 years so I decided to purchase a new topper. and repurposed the old one to a guest bed. It still has plenty of support and softness left in it. This is well and truly the best topper I have found and I have tried a lot of them. As for it's cooling effect I do think it helps. Our goal was comfort and support, and that's exactly what this topper delivers. An added bonus is the stability that the Zinus provides. There is a 75lb difference in my weight and my husbands and the topper has greatly improved the motion that I feel when he moves around at night, ( no more bouncy nights.)

I got the 1.5 inch. I needed something more besides a sheet between myself and the plastic mattress cover, as the cover was too hot. Not only did it fix the sweating problem, it is like a whole new bed! This topper is very comfortable and I definitely recommend.

I literally had this sitting still boxed up for TWO years. I finally gotten around to using it, I figured since it's been in a box for multiple years it wouldn't expand... I was WRONG!I let it sit and expand for 8 days. Didn't smell like the others normally do, expanded fully. It is firm but plush if that makes sense, nice and sturdy and GREAT to sleep on.I live in Phoenix it's the summer time currently and it doesn't leave me sweating at night like my old mattress topper I bought from Target did.I'll be buying another one to make a dog bed out of.

I recently purchased the Zinus 2 Inch Swirl Gel Cooling Memory Foam Mattress Topper in hopes of enhancing the comfort and coolness of my bed. However, my experience with this product has left me somewhat disappointed.The topper's main selling point is its cooling gel-infused memory foam, which is designed to promote airflow and dissipate heat, providing a comfortable and cool sleeping environment. Unfortunately, the cooling effect fell short of my expectations. While there was a slight improvement in airflow, it was not significant enough to make a noticeable difference in temperature regulation throughout the night.The 2-inch layer of supportive memory foam swirled with cooling gel offers decent comfort, but it fails to deliver a truly "cooling embrace." Despite fitting under standard or deep pocket fitted sheets, the overall cooling sensation was underwhelming.On the positive side, the topper comes with CertiPUR US certification, ensuring its durability, performance, and content. Additionally, Zinus has expertly packaged the topper, compressing it into a single box for easy shipping and delivery. Simply unboxing and unrolling the topper allows it to expand to its original shape within 72 hours.It's worth noting that the Zinus 2 Inch Swirl Gel Cooling Memory Foam Mattress Topper comes with a worry-free 5-year limited warranty, providing some reassurance. However, the warranty doesn't fully compensate for the lackluster cooling experience.One minor issue I encountered was the initial foam scent, which is common with new foam products. While the scent is expected to dissipate within 72 hours, it might be a slight inconvenience for those with heightened sensitivity.Considering the price and the promise of cooling comfort, I had hoped for a more substantial cooling effect from this mattress topper. I wanted to wait sever months before writing the review to give time for an honest experience of this topper. Although I had a relatively new (3 years old) high quality mattress, I was experiencing significant hip and shoulder pain, especially when sleeping on my side. I was spending a lot of time tossing and turning and needed a topper.Some other reviewers found that there was a strong odor to the topper that wouldn't go away. I know everyone has their own sensitivities to smell, but I found the odor pretty mild. And after leaving it out to "relax" for about 18 hours, the odor quickly disappeared. I never smelled anything from the time I put it on the bed to this day several months later.After reading pervious reviews, I was concerned that buying a full size would be too small for my full sized mattress. This is definitely NOT true. I bought a queen size topper and had to cut several inches off the top and side for it to fit. This topper is true to size for your mattress!!Also after reading previous reviews I was a little concerned that it would be too soft (I bought the 3 inch topper). At first, I found that I did sink deep into it and would find it a little difficult to move around. However, I found this really comforting. I also found that I was so comfortable that I hardly needed to move and shift throughout the night as I normally did. I loved this period of time with the topper. I knew that it wouldn't be this way forever though. The nature of any material like this is that it changes a bit with use. This was no different. If you don't like it at first, give it time. "Break it in" for a few weeks.After several weeks, I found that I sank in a little less. It was still comfortable and I still have no hip and shoulder pain when I sleep on my side. It is not quite as "squishy" as it once was. Although its still very comfortable I miss how it felt when it was new.Knowing how this type of material changes, I was also worried about having permanent impressions left in it. I did not want to make the bed and have it look messy because there are impressions so the bed doesn't look smooth. I am so glad to say that after all these months, the topped bounces back to original every time! Despite the weight of body or amount of time spent in bed, the topper always comes back. It may take a few minutes, but it always looks like new.I have not found this to be any hotter to sleep than on my regular mattress either.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for relief from a mattress that isn't as comfortable as it should be. This is an economical choice that has stood many months of nightly use.

EXCELENTE! De mis mejores compras! Es el 1,5” y aun asi tiene un muy buen grosor. El tamaño es exacto, no tuve que esperar a que de estirara ni huele a quimicos como dicen algunos. En cuanto lo puse senti la diferencia, tengo problema de hernia lumbar y de verdad aunque solo lo he usado un dia, mi espalda ya lo agradece. Lo uso con cubre colchón y sábana encima.Compré un segundo, tamaño individual para mi mamá. Tenía semanas sin dormir bien, se tenía que despertar a estirarse para que se le quitara el dolor del cuerpo. Desde la primera noche sintió la gran diferencia, se durmió más 8 horas seguidas y despertó sin dolor alguno.
