Three of the first four female end cap plugs I tried leaked air when placed in a bucket of soapy water. My Truck airbag system lost30 psi from a 50 PSI start pressure in an hour. I trimmed the end of the 1/4 inch pipe each time to give the fitting a fair chance. These may be 2nd quality, having failed a factory test. Second issue was they were extremely difficult to remove after placing on the 1/4 inch pipe. The meatl air fitting I have were never difficult to remove and always held the air,.
