I bought these fans for a Vietnamese fan dance, and they work really well! They are sturdy and well made, and they make a very nice, crispy noise when you open them. The glue that attaches the silk to the fans is strong, and the color is very pretty (I got red). I also like that the fans are made so that you can use them with both hands; some other fans that I bought were made only to be used with the right hand, which is not ideal for dancing. The only thing I can say is that $16 is a bit much for fabric glued to plastic, and I paid like $100 for only 6 pairs of fans. However, these are well worth the price, and I have a feeling they will last a long time.

I had one of these fans in club practiced and HAD to get a pair for myself. The noise it makes when you pop them open is so satisfying and the red ombré is gorgeous. I definitely recommend!!

Nicely finished edges with a slight scallop. Sturdy plastic ribs. Easily opens and closes. Very satisfied with these! much better quality that other fans I have ordered. Highly recommend! I will buy more colors of these!
