I first purchased this system in November 2023. While the picture quality Is exceptional, the system is very glitchy and requires a lot of patience. For the entire year that I've owned this system, every few days a camera would go offline and require you to restart the system multiple times. The cameras ALWAYS GO OFFLINE.The Zosi smart app is the absolute worst thing known to man. It takes forever for the camera to load up, the app crashes if you playback footage for more than 5 minutes or if you configure any settings through the app. Once the app crashes, the system disconnects from the app and you're requires to link the NVR, cameras and app together again.Alas, a year later October 2024, two cameras are completely non operational and I must now decide between purchasing two individual cameras while keeping the same glitchy system, or spend more money on an entirely new system.Money wasted, I do not recommend anyone purchasing this device. The picture quality is great though, so I'll give 1 staron count of the great quality video.

The night vision on these cameras are AMAZING! We can see so far out on our property like no other. Never thought it would be this great. Price was amazing when I purchased them. Very happy with this purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to buy additional cameras to go with the system. Only ordered the system with 4.

This product was shipped in a reasonable time. However the app and the system login seem to be two completely different things. When reaching out to support it was non existent. I reached out to the support and they never responded. I reached out to live chat and chat was unavailable at 1pm during the day. Sent an email and they said they would reach back to you in 24hrs. 3 days and no one has been in contact to resolve issue. The mouse they provided was damaged and didn't work with the system, had to purchase a different mouse. The login for the system required prevents you from using any of the desktop features. Overall poor product and poor customer support service.

I am using this product for home security. Had one issue with a defective power/video cable which was resolved quickly by Zosi support. One thing that could be improved is instuctions for scheduling cameras.Other than that it was all straight forward and system is installed and working as described

This is an upgrade from our old Q-See security system. Quality packaging. I used the cables already in place from the Q-See install. Easy plug and play. DVR once connected to router was up and running. Easy IPhone app and laptop installation. Clear, vivid video on all devices-two IPhones, IPad, Laptop, Desktop. This was a simple and quick install. Extremely pleased with the results.

This is a very nice home surveillance system. Night vision is black and white and illuminates a long distance. Hooking up wires is so easy and day videos are clear as can be with great color. I was also impressed with how well the box was shipped (See photo) and getting here was super fast. I’m very impressed with the system looks great! Hooks up to smart TV with HDMI cable (not included).

Decent little units.**You have to have it connected to the internet to authorize the device through the app.Picture quality is great with the supplied cameras. found out this unit is a bit particular about cameras connected, as I was connecting old cameras of a different brand, since this unit was replacing an older unit of a different brand that a storm destroyed. The older cameras had some "shorts", had to splice the wires at the connections of one camera, and the second camera has an issue with the control board for the ir lights, which caused the Zosi DVR to reboot every 10 mins or so....once I figured out it was the cameras, I disconnected them, and replaced them with the Zosi cameras, and haven't had a single reboot or issue since. So, keep that in mind, if your unit reboots constantly, you may have a bad camera attached. The ir lights throw a good amount of light out, and the cameras are GREAT at night time...(I want to say these are the 80' ir cameras, if you get the 120' cameras, be warned, the ir light "may be" too bright for objects up closer to the camera, and will likely cause the image to wash out. Just note, those are for LONGER distances at night...)The motion detection....is..uh.....touchy(?), frustrating(?)...maybe I just don't know how to set it properly....the sensitivity of the motion for the *ALARM*.... 0 being the most sensitive, and 8 being the least sensitive....(little backwards there...imo) I've got it to go crazy on shadows moving around from the trees...kinda works when it wants to with vehicle movement and human traffic....My son helped me test them out, and I "thought" I had it set up....his fiancé barrels up the driveway, no alarms..we were watching her the entire time on the system....she got out of her vehicle, walked all through my zones I set, down 2 more vehicles....I'm sitting there, saying " and there goes my stereo...op, just got my catalytic converter....here she comes to kill us...." she walks right past the camera at the front door, and into the house...and i said..."aaaaaand we're murdered....." My son goes outside, and dances around in front of the cameras, ....nothing...she cracks the front door and had her hand just outside against the wall....alarms going off like crazy.....they walk out to leave...nothing...On screen, it shows "MD" (motion detected).... but no alarm went off....I eventually just turned the alarms all off because the afternoon sun would cause shadows through the trees against the house, and the alarm would not stop going off from detecting that movement.....so....you may have to play with that a little bit to get it dialed in...I gave up on that part for now...but aside from that .....overall I'm happy with it...it does what it needs to do, the app works, I get alerts through email with no problem for everything I have it set to do, and that is the main things for me! I can connect remotely, and I get notifications sent to me instantly when it detects something, or has an issue with anything with the cameras or the unit so it can be addressed asap!I've used these units in the past, and have installed these units for others and would recommend them for an inexpensive, yet quality unit.My recommendations would be: as with any camera, don't point towards sunlight! and if you can afford to do so, get a UPS to connect the unit and cameras to. If you have an "always on" internet connection, you may want to get a UPS for it as well (if they are any distance apart/ which this applies to any network equipment you may have as well). That will save them from power spikes, brownouts, and blackouts. Nothing worse than a thief cutting your power and your system going down and you being blind. (well, there are a few things worse, but that ranks right up there..lol)As long as these systems keep getting made, I'll keep buying them!(side note: with the amazing picture quality these inexpensive systems have, it really makes you wonder why you can NEVER see a decent picture posted by the police from bank cameras, store cameras, etc....those pictures look like they were taken with a potato! I can read the inspection sticker in the vehicle windshield that's parked 50' away from these cameras, at 10pm!!!!! with the night vision going!!!!!be careful though, these things are addictive...the more cameras you have, the more cameras you want!I know I don't 'need' any more....but I absolutely "want" some more!!!!

This system does come with a hard drive built in ready for recording unlike some other brands. It is pretty much plug and play with the exception of the app for mobile viewing. I could not figure out how to connect the system to WiFi and it’s too far away to plug in my Ethernet cable so I am strictly using it for recording playback.Pros:Inexpensive4 camerasBuilt in hard driveNo computer neededPlug and playEASY system configurationCons:No left or right tilt for the cameras just up and down.Short cable from camera to plug(into 60ft) that goes to dvr.

I'd prefer them not to send any screws or anchors so that i didn't waste my time trying to use them. I eneded up with extra holes from the failed ties and having to make a drive to home depot with all my stuff scattered to buy working drywall anchors for less then $3.00.BUT the system was easy to install and use. And the video quality is very good for the price. Its the little stuff that get you in life 3 stars for the trash anchors and screws.BTW the mounting plate is plastic and feels cheap, the screw provided can actually easily widen the hole and be useless with just a slight over tightening.
