The first filter I used was fine and lasted 4 weeks( which is how long my previous Culligan filter lasted). The second filter would constantly leak which could only be solved by adding plumbing/ Teflon tape to rim of filter before screwing it in place. This one lasted 3 weeks. The 3rd one I took out of box same problem, needed Teflon tape to keep it from leaking and lasted only 2 1/2 weeks before water tasted funky n tested at 445( higher than what was coming out of my tap) . Do I went back to Culligan brand

Learned the Zero brand does filter more than other popular filter pitchers. Water in my area is some of worst in nation. Wouldn't want to be without it. I was able to identify the better, cleaner tasting water upon first use when made tea and coffee. They include a water analysis device with the pitcher purchase which enables testing the filter effectiveness and when to change the filter. I highly recommend.

Leave water tasting good after filtering. I wish they lasted a little longer, but also understand that the area I am in probably has harder water.

The filters are competitively priced, and they last an average of 8 days before requiring replacement, which aligns with ZeroWater's. The need to replace is signalled by both a ZeroWater testing wand, water odor and taste. I wish they lasted longer, but our city's water quality is likely the reason behind more frequent filter changes.
