I've always wanted an oscilloscope but could never afford one. Now I know there are oscilloscopes and there are oscilloscopes, but at this price, it has been working for me. I've been using it to fix power supplies and clock radios. I checked a number of reviews and decided on this one. Glad I got it.

I've been building my own model spaceship design using a set of 3d printers for a while now. I've added lots of internal and external lighting to it, all my own design. This lighting is rather elaborate, too. I've never done this kind of thing before, so I've had to correct a lot of issues as well as make a lot of modifications on the fly. Now, I'm in the process of final assembly and one of the connections I made earlier is incorrect and, unfortunately, some of the labeling I used to label the hundreds of connections I'm using is now kind of buried, so I have to hunt down the proper connections. What a drag.This gadget will help me do just that. I've used it on all kinds of things, from testing voltages to monitoring waveforms. My spacecraft model design uses a lot of weird electronic controls and digital waveforms. These not only allow me to create special lighting effects but also control them ship-wide as well.This wonderful gizmo is, well, wonderful and will help me, perhaps, sort things out during final assembly.

This is a terrible multimeter! I purchased this for my circuit analysis class and blew the mA fuse (probably a rookie mistake but I’m not the only one in my class that blew it) so while I was looking for replacement fuses I panicked and bought another one to complete my lab on time. The new one worked for a bit but then the screen died! No, I did not drop it. My classmates have all run in to similar problems with this multimeter and my professor has directed our university’s supply manager to not include this multimeter for future classes!

I can’t believe they sell this at this price point. It’s great. Everything I’ve tried works well. It’s as accurate as I need for what I’ve tested. Is it as accurate as my fluke down to 4 decimal places? Not sure. But it seems pretty good for hobby use. I’m impressed and the display looks great.

Came with two 60Mhz probes (not shown). Unexpectedly, right after I received the O-scope, I had a problem in a consumer electronics device and used the capacitance checker to find a bad metalized film capacitor that had deteriorated by 1/2 and measured just 500 nfd instead of the correct 1,000 nfd (1 ufd). I like the meter probes because they're very sharp and cut through oxidation and they have shrouds to protect the points when not using them. I put this O-scope in my fabric tool bag and it fits perfectly where my old multimeter meter went.

This review is for the ZOYI ZT-703S Smart Multimeter. In addition to the items shown in the product description (charging cable, probes, carrying case, instructions, etc.), I also received an extra probe for the oscilloscope (for a total of two oscilloscope probes). It should be noted that the product includes a USB recharging cable, but a power adapter (if needed) has to be purchased separately.If you've used a multimeter previously, you'll find this product is fairly easy to use out of the box. The buttons are clearly labeled with their purpose, and the menus aren't overly complicated. The oscilloscope function is also easy to figure out, but I do recommend reading through the manual at least once to become familiar with all the capabilities of this device (such as the ability to save waveform screenshots to the device for later download to a computer).In my testing and in operation, I found the multimeter functions to be accurate and reliable. The oscilloscope function was also very cool although admittedly I don't expect to use this particular function as frequently as the multimeter.The only aspect of this product that gave me pause was the battery charging notification. When recharging, the power button will be red. When recharging is complete, the red light in the power button is supposed to go out. However, after my multimeter finished recharging, the red light in the power button began flashing rapidly. Other than this one anomaly, however, the battery seems to recharge correctly.
