I was battling a starting issue for two years. Everything I did worked for a short while. New starter, new ignition switch, reset the valve gap. watched a you tube video and it showed how to test starter relay. Once I was sure it was intermitently bad, I got this inexpensive relay. Very happy when I turned the key and the motor sprang to life immediately. Easy install. 100% happy with product.

Bought this solenoid in July 2023, failed today on September 4, 2023. This was 3rd or 4th use and it got stuck running starter continuously, while using my zero turn mower. Was lucky to yank on the wires and it stopped, otherwise I would kiss my starter goodbye. Im ordering second unit, and if this one fails after few uses/few weeks, I will write appropriate review regarding this item and seller. I gave this 2 stars for obvious reasons.

threaded post is fine thread unlike coarse thread on OEM and threads were so poor that unit wasreturned

Didn’t realize washers were different sizes. Unit worked correctly. Put on John Deere mower. Cost was half of dealer price.
