worked as it should but had to return as my knives are 15 degree asian edge and this is a 20 degree standard edge. Excellent quality sharpener

We received Zwilling knives for a Christmas gift. This Zwilling knife sharpener works great to keep our knives sharp every time we use them. I would highly recommend. I’m pretty sure this sharpener would work well on other brands also.

This sharpener has two settings. My husband really likes it because it is easy to use and effective. Our knives are very sharp with a fine edge that will cut paper!

I was using this on standard chef knives and so on but now probably not even 3 months later it seems to barely sharpen the blades. I don't think it's worth the price if it's going to wear down so easily.

I needed a storable knife sharpener for my kitchen knives. This does okay, but you really need to use lots of draws to get a sharp blade. And, for my Toledo chef's knife, it never really obtains that razor edge. In fact none of the knives get the razor edge I'm looking for.

My wife is a little less than gentle with our knives and it was really starting to show when using our most oft used cutlery. It took about 20 minutes to run our whole block through the sharpening process and I've noticed an immediate improvement. Now if I can just get the Mrs. to treat them a little better I hope I don't have to use this sharpener too often. Overall, it's easy to use and certainly does the job without issue. I will say the handle design isn't exactly going to win any ergonomics awards but it doesn't severely impact use.
