Great lil timer module. Programer uses wifi to connect. If the white serial connection is active, the timer will not active as its in programming mode. You also need to power cycle the unit after removing the serial cable. Documentation is good. Select function is confusing, but look for the function # in the PDF.

Timer worked as advertised. I'm using it for a one-shot 0.25 second time on delay to open/release vacuum on an automatic choke system on my generator whenever it cranks. The Relay worked perfect and my generator starts consistently now! Yahoo. We'll see if it actually lasts inside my generator enclosure:)

The timer is not difficult to program using just bare wires after you download and read the manual. But I could not program a time delay for three motors in series. The motors delayed starting but would not shut off just kept running. Programming did not work with motors connected and programming did not work with no motors connected (no load). Email support failed so I used chat which did work during business hours - not alot of help somewhat terse. I will try to program using a light bulb as a load then if it works add the motors.

I installed LED daytime running lights on an old hobby vehicle and used a pair of these to turn off the light adjacent to the activated turn signal. They work perfectly and added that extra touch of class to the project.

Great product but really confusing how to set it up. Wish there was a specific video for each type of operation you would like it to do. Other than that, once I got it working, it works great.

I have probably purchased over a dozen of these over the last few years for various projects. My most heavily used is the one I use to automatically turn off my truck bed lights. if left on they would kill my battery so I use this with the trigger function to automatically turn the lights off after 30 minutes. Does a great job the truck is always outside the unit is just stuffed in the post hole of the truck with no weather protection. It's been working for at least 4 years through summer and winter and all the rain with no issue. These are durable low power units and do a great job. Other projects I've used them as a fail safe to hard power cycle electronics in hard to get to locations every 24 hours just in case they stop working and need a reboot, just a timer off for 30 seconds on for 24 hours pretty simple. Those have been working for over a year in hot and cold locations but protected from the weather. The time accuracy isn't exact, don't expect nanosecond accuracy but it will be within 10 seconds I guess at least for the duration I've used them for, never had a need for the up to 400 days capability. Configuration is a little different but once you get it figured out it's pretty easy.

I bought this timer to operate a heat scavenger fan to cool off an engine bay. I need the fan to operate for 10 minutes after I turn on a 12vdc switch. Also, I need to have the fan turn off on those occasions when I want a shorter run and manually turn off the switch. This timer satisfies my requirements!I did have one problem after it was programmed as it did not seem to power on via the 9-volt battery I used for programming on my desk. I wrote to the e-mail address provided in the instructions, and within an hour or so I received confirmation that my programming selections were correct for my requirements. I was extremely pleased with the prompt and professional response I got.So, with the confidence gained by the response, the next morning, I got up and connected the switch to the 12vdc battery in the vehicle I planned to use it in and tested it again. And guess what: the timer worked perfectly. I don't know why it didn't seem to test well with the 9-volt battery I used for programming. But who cares. If you're curious, for my particular timing requirements noted above, I selected Function #17 and Trigger Function #2. They work just as I need them to.Also, I used a multimeter instead of an LED light to follow the timer's output while timing and testing. It works as well as an LED, and I had the multimeter on hand and didn't have a handy LED.The only thing I would have done differently if I were buying today is that I would have bought the inexpensive programming button kit that is offered as an option. It would have saved me time and effort while programming and would be well worth the few bucks.

Seems to work as advertised. Takes a while to figure out the programming though

This struck me as the means to solve a problem in the ole Hot Rod. When the car sits for weeks at a time, the float bowls go dry from evaporation. It takes plenty of cranking to refill the carburetor and get the engine to start. This is annoying. This time is so flexible and handy. It was easy to program. I chose Function #16 which allowed me to trigger an On-Delay for fifteen seconds with a momentary toggle switch I located up under the dash. The load is a Holley electric fuel pump in-line with the normal mechanical pump. Works like a champ. Flipping the switch an additional time will stop the pump if it has not completed its run time.I bought the eight dollar programming add-on device because I wanted to be able to easily modify the timer once installed under the dash. The downside is that it is oddly shaped as a long rectangle with exposed PCB solder joints. Perhaps, enclosing this device in a square plastic enclosure the same size as the timer would really clean things up. Even further, it could clip onto the timer permanently and connect with a pin/socket arrangement for ease. My solution is shown in the photos - glue, tape, liquid tape & solder keeps the two parts together permanently.

Headline says it all...almost. At first glance, programming seemed to be just about overwhelming. But, just like learning anything new, it just took a little time to understand the task at hand. No need to be a technical guru, but just a rudimentary understanding of electronics/electricity will help. Seller provides enormous amounts of supporting documentation and videos. After reviewing them I completely understood what I had to do.I used the timer to install aftermarket interior LED lights in my very poorly lit up 2019 F150 Lariat. The lights turn on and off with a switch, but if I forget to turn them off, they time out and turn off after 10 minutes. This timer is a pretty cool device with unlimited applications.

I needed a device to extend the electric choke on my Honda generator. After months of searching for the right tool for the job, I found this on amazon. For the price I took a chance, and I wasn't disappointed! It is very versatile in its settings and once you get the hang of it it is very easy to program. They have posted some instructional videos for those who are visual learners. Good job guys - I have referred you to a few people already.
