I couldn't get it to work. The snake part was too stiff, which is good, but the plastic reel had a hard time with it. Cheaply made, which I expected somewhat for the price, but was hoping it could at least do the job one time. The plastic reel that you hold also had some very rough edges that should have been smooth but weren't so they would almost cut me everytime I turned the knob. Returned the item so I couldn't get it to do what I needed.

I ordered this because I needed a snake to be able to get down my sink drains. I found after utilizing it it was better off using it for kitchen type drain versus a bathroom sink style push button drain, it had a hard time fitting into the slots to get down inside it. It is a good value if you are going to use it for a long time and functionality-wise it was excellent. Very easy to use even without the instructions.

This 10-in-1 25ft drain clog remover kit comes with everything one needs to clean and unclog their drains, including gloves and glasses lol. It has the standard plastic, barbed/teeth hair remover sticks, a flexible grabber tool, as well as the 25ft drain snake reel. The reel is pretty easy to use, but the instructions definitely could've been better IMO. They were quite vague and unhelpful; as it was my first time using the reel, I found it useful to find a video tutorial. After figuring out how it worked the reel was effective at going through my bathroom sink drain (with a P-trap), and clearing out a blockage.

Everyone should have one of this drain clog remover and cleaner kits on hand. The kit is a great way to unclog and clean your drains without use of corrosive and harmful chemical drain cleaner. More often than not, the sink and tub drains are clogged with hair, which causes soap scum and other debris to stick to the side of drain. Included in this kit are 3 plastic hair remover tools. They have sharp teeth that grab hair and it takes very little effort to unclog drains clogged with hair. You could reuse this hair remover more than once if you remove the hair and rinse, but once the teeth become worn out, it's time to toss. Then you can use the long bristle brush tool to clean this inner walls of the drain. Two of these brushes are included. For tougher clogs, the 25ft drain snake auger is needed. I haven't had a need to this auger but it feels well made and good for lighter duty clogs for things like clogged toilet paper. This auger is not going to be heavy duty enough to clean and clear mineral or tree root based clogs, but having an auger in your house in case you do need to use is a good idea. A pickup tool, safety glasses, gloves and storage pouch are also included.

This is a comprehensive kit and my first impressions were good. My only complaint with all the items included is with the snake. It has a flimsy plastic housing and the snake itself broke away from the housing as soon as I tried to reel it back into the housing.I do feel like all the components make this a good value at $20 but we're I to have it new again I would be cautious of extending the snake too far.

Short history, bath sink piped pre ww2 with galvanized 1.5" pipe at attic edge behind tiled wall. Have a rigid 3/8 pro snake set, but will not get past second elbow. Tried every pipe cleaning bottle out there. Got the air pump to blow line, blow it, sink draining hurrah......water sound ! Blew the pvc trap under sink completely off ! Still clogged. This nice kit, even gloves, yes not build out of best material, but the key is the 1/4 snake and the shape of the tip ! Hand cranking it went down the line to unplug ! Even for one use it would be worth the money. Also can squeeze into a 50 caliber ammunition plastic case with little bulge. Would recommend for anyone who might need for small clogs, like sinks. bath tub.
