It leaks and dribbles when you pour it. I tried to fix by taking apart and applying a silicone bead but the hot coffee melted it and the silicone dripped into my coffee. Not good

I was a bit worried because my model number wasn't included in the list of models this carafe fits so, I measured and it seemed like it should fit.My Hamilton Beach coffeemaker (model 46380) is discontinued so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a replacement carafe.This one fits! It is the perfect height. I will say that like another reviewer states, it has a slightly smaller diameter at the bottom than my original carafe. There is a little bit of play that allows it to move around a bit on the burner because of that. However, it works just fine and doesn't affect the function. The design is almost identical to my original carafe which I really like too. Seems like a very well made, solid replacement carafe. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect replacement for my stainless steel carafe that came with machine. My fault it gathered mold in it, I neglected to wash the stainless steel afterwards. This is a great replacement, just be careful with the glass, very fragile.

They say that you need to have a backup coffee pot before your coffee pot dies. Unfortunately I didn't hear that until our original coffee pot had a sad and sudden demise. The coffee drinking members in my family were not happy, moping around, lamenting the loss of their magical juice. I was left ordering an emergency carafe.Years later, that coffee pot is looking pretty sad, and I decided to be preemptive and get a replacement pot prior to the emergency situation. This coffee pot replacement carafe fits perfectly and frankly works better than the replacement we have.
