Well this should be made well for the money, but I felt that the company should of replaced it instead of just giving me half of what the coffee pot was worth ,these are the ones they should have in the package s with the coffee pots and makers ,instead of those thinner glass one that are all broke when you get them , coffee make was fine ,but this replacement is better well made

if you need the black one don’t pay more to get it. you can easily swap out the handle and lid.

This more a positive review for Amazon. I smashed the carafe on July 3rd. Checked Braun for replacement 5 -7 business days. Amazon had it for the same price 2 days later.
