So when I got it I opened my ps4 pro controller and right away the new battery was slightly smaller and moves around, I put it in and charged it, it is not keeping a charge like the old batyery... the same issues that made me buy the battery in the first place. I charged it for 4 hours and when I removed the cable it would hold a charge for less than 30 minutes, I decided to charge it for more time and did it for 14 hours as I went to do other thing, same charge as it dies fast... so I guess it's just my controller or something...

Needed to replace the battery in my PS4 controller. Item worked as required but the ends on the plastic prybars broke as I was using them. I know you are not supposed to use metal to pry open the controller but the ends of the items need to be sturdier.

My PS4 controller went from fine to only works when plugged in to a doorstop in a matter of a couple hours. Usually batteries have a slow fade but this was very sudden. So I ordered this. Pleased. Can't speak to the long term battery longevity as I just got it, but initial quality is perfect.It was easier to install than I thought. I got this one in part because it had plastic pry tools - they make the job easier so get them if you don't already have such implements. Just patiently use the pry tools to work it open gradually. You kinda have to go one area at a time, gently and patiently. Once the case comes apart - don't pull the ribbon or the pins that hold the triggers together - gently -*gently* - work the battery connector back and forth until it comes off. Click the new battery connector in, carefully place the battery into the little box, place the back cover back on, click it tight, screw the screws back in, and Bob's yer uncle. Took maybe 10 minutes total. I'd feared it would be a huge hassle, but those concerns were unfounded.Controller fired right up, battery was already charged so I played Ratchet and Clank for a couple hours before going to bed, no issues at all. I can't say how many months/years this battery will last, but initial quality is totally faultless. The fact that it had a healthy charge out of the box bodes well for its long term prospects. I may buy another in the near future just to keep on hand as a back up, now that I've learned these batteries, or at least the stock Sony batteries, can fail with so little notice.Cheers, and happy gaming!

My controller is a CUH-ZCT2U and this battery installed in 10 minutes no problem. Battery already had a charge so that was kinda nice. The tools are pretty cheap but work for the most part. One of the blue plastic tools snapped when I went to pry the the controller apart but for the price what do you expect. Battery seems to lasts way longer than the factory one but dont know if that's just cause it was on it's way out.

My battery on my PS4 controller died and I didn't want to spend 40 plus on a new controller. I found this battery kit for 15 and took a chance. As the product explains, this battery is for 2016 or newer controllers. AGAIN make sure you have the newer model controller and that it matches the one they mention in the description. the most difficult part was taking the controller apart. All in all it took about 10 minutes total but could easily be done in 3 minutes. now I have a brand new controller with a longe lasting battery life.

The battery lasts alot longer than the 800mah it originally came with. The tool is cheap poor quality tho. Both snapped pretty easily and became useless. That was disappointing because i chose this item for the tools over the other, higher mah battteries available

From the start this product was a disaster. The screwdriver didn't fit in the screws for the controller. I had another screwdriver to use so not a big deal. The plastic tools were a bit thick to wedge into the controller and were too soft when trying to pry it open, leading to bent tools and still broke the controller clamps. Controller holds together with screws, so still not a deal breaker. Once the controller was open, the battery replacement was quick and easy. I left the controller to charge overnight and noticed it was still charging in the morning, which was odd. Turned on the PS4 and it had only charged to 2 bars. Played for a few hours and plugged it back in overnight again. The next morning, it had only charged to 1 bar. Played for an hour and the battery died and won't even charge anymore. Getting a refund.

Only problem is it cuts off periodically and my iPhone earphones won’t play using it. But it does charge my iPhone 8+ while playing music and that was the point
