Bought these to use in a auto full tank for a saltwater system. Have tried for a moth to work with them and get them to work correctly. But they do not work and do not shur the water off and keeps over flowing and flooding my living room. Am going to have to find another brand to use do not recommend these at all. Unless you want to wake up to a flooded living room everyday

I put one of these in the reservoir on my coffee maker (I have the Ninja CM371 that makes multiple sizes) so I don't have to keep filling it. It has worked flawlessly once I figured out how to mount it and adjust the float. All of the fittings worked well with no leaks. I have another one that I'm planning to install in my Keurig but haven't gotten to it yet.

What I like best about these, is there's ZERO metal on them, which can be harmful to reef (salt) tanks. And, with a little ingenuity, I was able to cut the clips and glued them to the inside of my sump for a direct RO/DI feed to the return chamber. So far, the float is working as expected.

I'm using these float valves to top up a humidifier tank directly from my RODI water filter. Overall they work exceptionally well. They come with all the parts that almost any installation will require, and once set up, they work very well. I have 2 criticisms that would make major improvements in my opinion.1) The plastic parts that need to be manipulated to adjust the float position feel very tight, and unlike other float valves, the joint is friction fit instead of having a screw to loosen/tighten. This probably is not a big deal, but I was very hesitant to adjust it at first as I was concerned that I was going to break it. So far, so good. So I think that my concern was unnessisary. Still, the more typical threaded joint would be preferable.2) The clamp for positioning the float over the edge of a bucket or reservoir is just a little bit too small. I had to fully remove the clamp post to get it over the rim of my tank, and then it only just barely made it back in to clamp down due to the clearances. This will not be an issue for a tank with an exceptionally small rim, but anything of the more typical dimensions will be tight. I made it work, but if the clamp was just a fraction of an inch deeper, this would resolve the issue entirely.I would definitely buy this again, but there can be small improvements to make it a fantastic product.
