Well machined (as in flat and smooth) so a .5 mm or thinned thermal pad works fine. Finish vg for the price.

Well made heatsink that suits many applications. Easy to drill into and tap holes for screws. The mounting holes works for 4-40 screws, probably also M3 screws.

I used this heat sink to build a small dummy load capable of dissipating 200 Watts. It is big enough to tune the finals of a transmitter and small enough to have it sitting on a desk without getting in the way.

The heat sink is made well and conducts heat from my components as expected. The only caution is to file the very sharp edges to prevent injury.

Fit my project and had 5 spots available to use for screw down. I drilled them out a little larger to tap in a 6-32 machine screw that worked just fine. This is a sold heatsink.

Changed stock thermal pad for my RTX 3090 but it still has 104°C on the memory. Got this heat sink and add thermal pad then it reduced the temp to 96°C!

Using it to keep an LED driver that is inside a kitchen cabinet cool. Have paired it with a small fan. Driver used to shutdown after about an hour of use and used to be very hot. Now it only get slightly warm and does not shutdown.
