First time ever using such a product and the results were amazing. Stitching 2 pieces of side panel together and for first time use I was super impressed. It does get hot so use caution and I learned a little tip when you are finished give it a slight twist then let go of the trigger, let sit a second then remove. Side panel was pretty solid, will see how it holds up. Worth the money again just be careful it gets hot so quickly it will melt right right thru motorcycle side panels easily.

I ordered this to repair the fairing on my motorcycle after I dropped it and broke a large piece off. The plastic welder included a LOT of the metal binding pins in multiple configurations. I had ordered one a while back to repair friends car bumper and misplaced it. This kit is much more comprehensive. I did use some JB Weld bumper repair on the break, but honestly, the plastic welding would have been enough. One point of caution - if repairing a material that is thinner than a bumper avoid the urge to really seat it deeply. Go a little shallow and then use the flat blade to smooth out the S-shape area that is displaced and rises up. If the area is painted, try to mend from the inside. If part of a lower, unpainted bumper you can work from the exterior. Works pretty good.

This is a great tool. I took a chunk out of my bumper and looked around for something to fix it. This did it great. Simple and straightforward to use. You don't have to be a professional, but you do have to know what a jigsaw puzzle is. I fixed the bumper perfectly with the exception of not being able to find a small shard. I have a plan for that which includes this tool. The only other thing you need if a repair is why you're getting it, is a grinder, or a dremel or something to get rid of the excess plastic. The kit comes with a little pair of side cutters. Those cutters are pretty useless. The plastic case it came with seems not to be the case it's supposed to come with, if you look at a YouTube video of it. But everything fits, so, whatevs. The instructions are hilarious. Obviously translated, and all but incoherent. But the pictures will get you there. Wear a mask. Work in a well ventilated area. Work slow. But it's easy if you're patient.

I have tried other products to repair broken plastics with varying results. Saw this product in use on a YouTube video and decided to give it a try. Don’t use the old product anymore. This tool is great. Fun heats up quickly and once you set the pin it stays. Just cut off the nubs and you have a permanent fix. Use this tool a lot.
