This lot of motors and accessories is very useful and good quality for makers/hobbyists. It's unfortunate that a little more hardware isn't included (gears, mounts, etc.), also, the included "propellers" are all pusher-style.

On the good side... This is a good kit for teaching groups about simple circuits with motors, switches, and batteries. It's great that motor holders were included. Parts all of reasonable quality. On the recommended improvements side... It's not too likely that soldering would be a part of a basic class, and once the soldering is done, you can't reteach the lesson without desoldering. So, it'd be better probably to have alligator or similar clips on the included wires. Also, most everything is here to make a car powered by motors turning wheels, or possibly a boat powered by wind. Wouldn't be bad to include simple pieces to make complete projects. Of course, these could be 3D printed, but so could the wheels and fan blades that were included.

I’m really happy with this motor kit! I’ve been using it to teach my daughter about small electronics by working on projects to create little robots that can move around. It has all the necessary components (well mostly) and then I 3D print various parts to make them fun. The last one she was like, Dad can you build robots? I was like... um yeah, I could build a robot. So I put a programmed a quick little blob which moved around and randomly spoke incoherent sentences. We all had a laugh but now I need to figure out some other project to excite her again.
