This is a review for: "18V Video Doorbell Power Adapter, Power Supply Transformer for Ring, Nest, Eufy, Arlo Doorbell, 26.2 FT, White –Pure Copper Enameled Wire Manufaturing"I plan on eventually ordering a second ring doorbell for my side garage door and while I could run it off the same transformer it isn't recommended. I got this to power it and the thin long cord will be great to route through the door frame.

The Ring Battery Doorbells can use a wide range of power adapters that will both power the doorbell and charge the battery. This power adapter falls within that range and works really well. The Ring Doorbell itself limits the amount of charge that goes to the battery, even if the power adapter can supply more than is needed. The result is that you may only see a 1-2% change in battery level per day. It may go up, and it may go down, depending upon usage of the doorbell and app.This is a good thing, as overcharging a battery or charging a battery fast, reduces the lifetime of the battery. This goes for all batteries, not just the one in your doorbell. By keeping the battery level between the low and the high, the battery should attain its longest life. Anywho, I can definitely recommend this power adapter. I rarely ever see power adapters fail, but if I should run into any issues, I'll be sure to post an update. BEST
