I have read the instructions on the box several time and I have adjusted the grinder screw in different directions as well. I try grinding coffee beans with this hand grinder and very little coffee grinds appear, even after a couple of minutes of cranking. When using this hand grinder it feels like burrs are slipping or not grabbing the beans. In a positive note the glass jars are a thick glass and seems to be made well, not so much for the actual grinding mechanism.

Grinder came in a basic carboard box with some shipping bubble wrap to protect the glass. Looks very nice and high quality, all threaded portions of the grinder screw in smooth with no binding, glass is clear with no defects. Grinder grinds smooth and the coarseness is easily settable with no extra tools needed. I really like the clear glass, you can easily see how much you've ground without opening a cover or lid.Cons:- Only came with 1 silicone base cover.
