  • With micro single-chip system, this speed control can achieve simple system programming, which can suit better high-speed high-power brushless motors.
  • Safety Startup: To avoid any injury, the motor will not start up immediately if the potentiometer of speed controller is not at the lowest gear, which is necessary for high-speed high-power motor to protect user's safety.
  • Temperature Protection: The speed control has aluminum heat sink, which allows it work at 30 A continuously. When temperature reaches 110 celsius degree, temperature detect system will send a protection signal and system will auto decrease 60% power output to protect speed control and motor. It will back to normal power after temperature is decreased. To protect the actuator module, please dissipate heat during long-time using.
  • The signal loss prevention: Auto shut down when there is no signal detected from PWM signal generator(potentiometer ).
  • Power Identification System: The speed control has power identification system, which is designed for high-speed high-power motors such as in model plane. It is not suitable for low-power brushless motors.

I have this set up to a 3 phase motor and I've found that at MOST it'll get it to barely move if I'm lucky. Very bad, do not buy!

purchased to test a broken string trimmer that uses a (120W) BLDC motor. I removed the motor from the tool and hooked it up to this little 3-phase BLDC driver and applied 12VDC to the input. It worked exactly as it should. The potentiometer controls the wave-form coming out of the built-in micro-controller, which controls the speed of the motor. I did not try the other features for servo control or put the controller on the o-scope to see its limits, because I didn't need too. I know the motor from the trimmer is good, so I can reuse it in another project, maybe even with this ESC.

I used this to power a brushless motor I found in an old laser printer for a fun robotics hobby project. Works well as a brushless motor controller. The functions work well too and can handle higher amperage at lower voltages for the most part. The design of the tester could use some polish and it's hard to press the mode button, but other than that it was satisfactory.

Works as advertised, however I don't like the "feature" that it resets the speed controller when battery voltage is dropped then re-established. However, it did say that this was (unfortunately) a "feature" when I purchased it. If anyone knows of a similar product that does not have this limitation, please let me know. (my application requirements require that the selected motor speed be re-established automatically when power is reapplied). Thank you very much.

I used this to power up my 2 thrusters iv put on my kayak. This has been an on going project of mine and have bought quite a few electrical parts like switches things of that sort and found that none of them come with instructions for the diy ers. This controller handles coming off a car battery and powers my boat nicely. Later I will buy a more permanent but for now . Im happy

I purchased this device in the hopes it would allow me to test some tiny 3-phase motors I never got that far. When I connected the control box, I monitored the three output lines with scope. I found normal square waves on two of the three lines. I then peeled back the plastic sleeve on the controller for a closer look at the MOSFETs driving the three outputs; comparing the good with bad channels it is still hard to say what component is failing. At any rate, I doubt if iI will order another one hoping this was just a one-off situation i.e. definition of insanity.
