Our garage door faces mostly west & the opener has issues during certain times of the year when the sun is in a certain place. We have to shield the sensor for the door to close. I installed these to do the job. It is not the time of year yet when we have the problem, so I can't say for certain that these work simply because there has been no opportunity. I can say they go on easily, don't interfere with the laser, & shade the sensors about the same as what we had to do manually. I feel certain they will do the job when needed!

These seem to work fairly well. You do have to take care in placement, because otherwise the laser site gets out of alignment. They are small and don't infringe upon the hardware of the door. It does help the door close when it's bright and we normally would have issues with it closing.

Works great I used.to have to shade the sensor at sunset to close the garage door but now that is no longer needed thanks to these shades.

This was easy to install and is exactly as advertised. Even though there were no instructions provided, it was intuitive enough for me to install them in minutes. The sun shining on my garage door sensors always makes it impossible for me to close the garage door in the afternoon. After installing this, it totally solved the issue.
